Anthem of the Bretonia Armed Forces. Play: Yes/No
Defenders of the Kingdom's righteousness, attention!
We have been hiding behind our jump holes, asteroid fields and radio silence for long enough. It is time to show the enemy who they have chosen to mess with. Soon, our citizens and soldiers trapped on the surface of Planet Leeds will see our ships protecting its orbit again!
But, for that we must invest a heroic effort. More so than until now. We are to start the first stage today. Operation Balance.
This is the synopsis:
1) Gallic patrols in Leeds are to be singled out. They are to be destroyed and their captains and pilots captured for interrogation. Usage of the smog clouds which we know well for cover is encouraged.
2) Encountering an increase in attacks throughout the Leeds System, the Gallic Royal Navy sends reinforcements from Edinburgh or Tau-31.
3) When the Gallic Royal Navy enters direct confrontation with the Liberty Navy, we suddenly strike at Edinburgh and our allies at Tau-31.
4) The enemy's supply lines are either cut, or they have to transfer reinforcements from the Liberty front to Leeds, and from there to Edinburgh and Tau-31. An alternative option is that they turn to an attempt to subdue us, not only relying on jump holes and having to pass through asteroid clusters and waste fields, but also leaving their flanks open to attacks from Liberty.
5) The Kingdom of Gallia is forced to negotiations.
If patriotism is not motivational enough for you, the High Command is willing to hand rewards. When you capture a Gallic captain or a pilot, you are to hand them over at any of our battleships or the BPA Newgate. You will be paid a reward there. If you file a report about the event with evidence that you have captured your prisoners in the Leeds System and transferred them to any of the mentioned installations, you will be additionally awarded trice as much from our reserves in the BAF|Armoury.
That applies for automated patrols. In case of crewed enemy ships brought down, you will receive £2,000,000 for each, with evidence provided.
This way we will counter their, as they think, overwhelming superiority in numbers and technology, which is apparently compensated by their lack of courage. No forward cannons can save them now. We will miss our target, but we will hit it painfully nevertheless. The odds shall be balanced. Good hunting! And long live Queen Carina the First!
