This may seem to be of an odd request as I am in the market at this time for a few lil tidbits of data for Eris to view upon.

Would you happen to have the old RM-1 Storta cruiser engine scaffolding designs available?

Please understand, I know this may sound awkward considering the design is nearly three to four hundred years old, but from the old images I have found the design of it is fanscinating, unique, and curiously enough on how its simplicity catches one's eye. Just the engine block itself, no need for the interworkings as Im sure those are a secret of Malta I shall not ask for.

I am looking forward to a great conversation in which I do hope to be most benefitcial to both parties.

Forgive the formailities. Recently yours truely has been voted forth as head propietor, puppetier, progenitor of Discord. And with such titles and responsibilities, I have taken a push towards a refit of Eris's Saber, the Persephone.

While she is unique is fashion, the dress she wears is sadly and litterally.... full of holes. The garb in which she wears no longer suits upon the dance in which her role doth play. Therefore to the puzzle of what Cinderella will wear has her shoes come from the designers of Malta.

The need for specifically one of our engines despite the innumerable ones available on the civilian market is one such a question I suppose. While I could chalk this up to mere desire for the superiority of Maltese engineering, I didn't get where I am today by making assumptions.

Next comes the question of payment. I have the schematics you seek here presently but I'm more than a little curious exactly what you offer in return; you've made little in the way of promises regarding what you're willing to give. While my generosity may be famous across Sirius, It does know it's limits, and free engines go above and beyond such a limit.

Riddle me this much, and we can get down to business.

You are an intelligent one if not straight to the truth on Malta's manufacturing superiority in this case.

Hmm. You drive a hard bargain on what I and the Droves of Eris's followers can bring forth. Hmmm.. I'll tell you what I'll do in the generous nature of my golden heart.

I'll provide a solid 150 Million credits for the schematic designs alone. None of the engine interior parts, just the scaffolding.

But.

If you happen to have an old engine scaffold of the RM-1 series available, not only will I pay double my offer, I'll allow you personally to look over the final product onboard the Persephone herself on our first tour.

I'm not saying "no" but an offer of credits seems awfully anemic when compared to what you're asking for. That being said, credits are of little interest here. The exchange of technology in such a manner as this is usually just that: an "exchange". I question what you would offer up in such terms when presented with your engine request, be it equal tech or even in specific favors. If nothing else, I suppose I could be persuaded to your credit proposal but as it stands: I'm underwhelmed.

With all due respect, the only thing technologically we have that's different that those relative to us, mostly Zoners, is our Scrubbie farms and the power core of the Persephone. But even we in TAZ are not even tempted to try and dismantle it to study. I'm pretty sure having a black hole suddenly appear in the middle of the Baffin Superhighway will not benefit any of us.
