Those ID templates are overly verbose and I expect them to be horrendously inconvenient to read in game unless you can somehow implement mouse wheel support or enlarge the windows. Seriously.
If you have to chose between a longer text which requires some scrolling, but is easier to read and supposed to be logically structured for each ID (read -Beginner friendly-) and a shorter text that still does require scrolling, but has overly complicated wordings that can mislead, what do you pick?
Freelancer Mercenaries are people not affiliated with any faction in particular. They generally operate independent trade ships and fighters. They usually act as mercenaries, taking the odd job here or there to pay for fuel and supplies, but also just explore Sirius or adventure through dangerous systems for thrill.
Pilot carrying this quasi-lawful ID is a Freelancer, who:
Is allowed to do the following anywhere:
-Can trade
-Can defend itself
-Can fulfill any bounty and escort contracts, and may treat transports as combat targets when executing a bounty or escort contract against them
Is not allowed to do the following:
-Cannot use any transports with more than 3,600 cargo, except for the Pirate Train
-Cannot participate in unlawful actions except as described above
I would like to point out the fact that two pretty active factions, which are Auxesia Battle Group and The Aegis Initiative, would be unable to defend each other, as almost all vessels bear the Freelancer ID.
Stop saying "are now unable to". Nothing in what I posted is set in stone, and nothing is permanent yet. If you have a suggestion make it. Once the two weeks are up, then we'll go in and makes changes where necessary, review the community feedback, and go from there. Stop assuming this is final and the verbiage is what will end up in game.
