Quote:1.3 Every player must have one ID equipped on their ship. Player should follow the restrictions and allowances listed in their ID and their roleplay and conduct must match the actions of their characters. In cases where these restrictions and allowances conflict with the server rules, the ID overrides the rules.
3. All attacks must be the result of some form of justifiable roleplay.
3.1 An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Saying "Engaging" is not sufficient and aggressors are not allowed to destroy a ship before allowing sufficient time to respond. If a player is attacked he has the right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking. Trading nanobots, shieldbatteries or other ammo and equipment during a fight is also considered taking an active role in the engagement.
Consequences: Shouting "DIE" and then firing guns is not enough role play prior to engaging. Are you not familiar with Rule 3.1? If so, what were you thinking? Why were you firing on a Freelancer ID player in your Core ID Bounty Hunter Gunboat anyways? Serious questions here, and as soon as you answer them to our satisfaction, we will release you from Bastille. I stripped parts of your ship off as well as all your credits.
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbours, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
Yes, I'm very familiar with the rule. Maybe I should have said: "Don't close in so quick on me although you are red in my scanners!"
Sometimes in the game as in real life there's no need for chit chat when context does the rest, he was coming quick straight at me as soon as he saw me and I decided to just say DIE! to a freelancer who was surely pirating in Omega11. I can't remember very well what he said as soon as he saw me , but he said something like "Well, well , Core in scanners" and was quite happy with the whole course of action; evidently, he was not alone, there were 3 of them from the same faction when they finally blew me up. And yes , they had a freelancer Id but they were red in my scanners and surely pirating the area. By the way, Core are red to most unlawfuls.
Further, I don't pretype stuff, it spoils the game, so sometimes you just have to go straight to the point or you're dead in no time. What's more, they never complained because it was within the context of the moment.
I know the rules and I always do roleplay, generally much better than just DIE!, but in this case there wasn't much else to say. I think this is a rather strict action taken against my character considering I've been blown up several times before without being said a word and I don't see them sanctioned. The last time, I was stationed with my Lib Carrier at Manhattan and a Ranseur uncloaked and simply blew me up without a word. I never saw a sanction of that and in the heat of the shots you don't think about taking pictures...
Anyway, I hope you reconsider the sanction and return the weapons to the ship. This is pretty harsh and unfair with what I've seen on the server.
I was a bit hasty and should have checked the Id better. And more roleplay will be done even in hot situations...
