Wandering back in to the hall, Violet rubbed her nose... sun cream might have been a good idea.
Throwing a glance accross the room Violet could see a number of new arrivals. She recognised Mr Hebishima, talking quietly with what looked to be a Brotherhood representative. Other Kusarians, employees of the Takarabune Conglomerate and Samura could be identified by their uniforms and insignia. She picked out a group of Cretians furiously working their way through the tapas table, and strode over to them.
Gliding up to the table and selecting an unidentifiable, but delicious-smelling, item from one of the large terracotta plates Violet addressed one of the Corsairs, "Hiya, so, you got any idea why we're all here?"
The Hogosha took his pondered time to examine the materials and quantities that the Brotherhood was requesting, considering prices and time required for them.
"Amusingly, it seems to fall in line with common shipbuilding contracts. Most of it would be easy to procure. The harder stuff will take longer, nothing is out of the hand of the Hogosha, in my opinion.
The Association and it's member syndicates will take great interest in assisting corsair new projects, as I believe teh Corsairs hold a similar desire toward ours."
Hebishima straightened up on his seat, savouring his drink.
"It does not seem like an exorbitant project, but I hope the Brotherhood and other Corsair patrons are planning to provide a good compensation for such job. Kusari shipping is highly sought after in recent years, and while I don't say there is a shortage of ships and men, there is always more work than hands available. A good incentive attracts more efficient market reaction, pay mind to that."
Hebishima looked at his Gin, a refreshing sensation in comparison to the hotter than he was used to temperature of the Corsair homeworld.
"In trade, in sustenance, in development, may our partnership last for many more centuries, our fortunes greater than we can spend in our lifespan."
He raised his glass toward his partner in conversation, as he awaited for a reaction in the always smiling patron.
Mala, chief of protocol, leaned her little cute head towards Hector and whispered: Boss, everything is set, you can even kill them all for all I care. Wicked little beast, chuckled Hector and nodded.
Lights dimmed, a holo-emitter showed the space of Corsair Empire, then Delta, then Yaren. Graveyard of ships and fallen hermanos, Corsairs will never forget.
For remembering them, we don't need your help, but for vengence, we do.
Simulations of our tacticians showed that in these type of operations, big ships without support don't always guarantee success.
Therefore, we made plans for a ship that is necessary and can do it, faster, more agile and easier to use then our heavy cruiser, it will be ideal as support to our Murmillos in future operations against the enemies of the Empire.
Hector presses the button and blueprint and 3D animation of the Cruentus is showed.
Amigos, we need your help, besides the good profit that you will make, in TBH and Corsairs you will have allies forever. Hector leaned back in his chair, grabed his Rum bottle and said: Arcelia, you are taking over from here.
Arcelia Chavez waited until the representative of the Hogosha Association had examined the lists and she smiled when he commented on the project. It sounded like a 'yes, we can do it' for her.
"Senor Hebishima, I think it is time for me to move over to the War Hall, where I have the privilege to present this list to all other parties. I assume that the presentation of the materials and the speech of the honourable Elder takes another 20 minutes."
The wolfish smile is back: "I assume you would like to make some calls to reserve the best opportunities." she suggests, while hiding the piece of advice behind a question. "I'll see you after the presentations, Senor Hebishima. It has been a very special pleasure to meet you." she ends, then gets up and leaves a little card with an ID number on it. Scribbled on that one is the writing "2000 cr/unit".
Then she leaves the Hogosha representatives and she quickly heads to the War Room.
In the War Room:
Gracias, Elder of the Corsair Council and Legatus of The Brotherhood Hector Beltran. It is a pleasure to present to you the materials that are needed and to introduce you to the concept how we imagine to incentivise this project for our honourable allies.
She turns on the projection and the list of commodities appears:

Arcelia gave the business people in the room a few moments to check the goods and some of them were looking up market prices, and she only continues after a few moments when the audience was paying attention again to her.
So, this is the list of commodities that the Corsair Nation wishes to aquire. As you can see here, the quantities are not enormous, but the range of goods is too wide and we cannot access many of them. To compensate you for the effort, the Elders have decided to add a bonus of 2.000 credits per transported unit to the price that Tripoli Shipyard docking masters already pay to you.
Please make sure to include the following information in your claims, so that we can transfer the money quickly to your accounts. Are there any questions?
Bank account: < your bank account > Goods transported: < the goods you transported > Amount transported: <the amount of goods you transported > Bonus owed: < bonus that you get > Visual Evidence: < timestamped picture of your cargo hold in front of Tripoli >
Hebishima watched the presentation of the new Corsair project, as well as the more detailed list of requested. The idea seemed pretty basic, but the continued development of light class cpatial ships opened up some opportunities in the future, opportunities that Hebishima and the Hogosha were keen on taking for themselves.
He too the initiative after the end of the presentation, and addressed the hosts.
"A fine piece of work in store for the might of the Corsairs, one that the Hogosha Association and its members will gladly assist in every way we can."
As other representatives gave out their thoughts and comments, Hebishima signalled one of his men to approach him. He handed him a card with instructions and some notes of what has been revealed so far. Most of them written in such a cryptic manner, that their content and intended destination wouldn't be clear for a stranger reading them.
"Head back to town and signal home to send a shuttle for you. Get this documents to The Fisherman, he will need them as soon as possible. I'll be returning on the appointed time."
The man bowed to him, and proceeded to the shuttle area, to carry out his instructions. Hebishima remained among the crowd, enjoying the continuation of the events at Legatuses Palace.
*As Hector and Arcelia unfolded their plans for joint cooperation of Corsair's allies in creation of their first light cruiser, Akio observed with great interest this new wonder they are trying to achieve without actually giving away any emotions.*
"I can imagine enemies of the Corsair Empire have the countermeasure for the big ships without support of the smaller vessels. Too bad this new weapon will punch many holes in their plans Hector-san. Not to mention that the smooth profile of the ship will make it easy to maneuver and avoid potential enemy weapons fire."
*Akio leaned forward and crossed his hands on the table in front.*
"Samura Omotai Zaibatsu will assist Corsair Empire in this new endeavour. I will forward your request for supplies to the board of Directors so that they can mobilize the appropriate divisions. Our transports will depart Kusari as soon as humanly possible."
*He turned towards Arcelia and spoke:*
"Arigato for the list Arcelia-sama, the bonuses you have provided are more then generous. The list will be forwarded to where needed. Expect our transports on Tripoli."
*As he leaned back, he pull out the datapad from his suit and compiled a message for the Board of Directors reporting of the events that transpired on the meeting as well as instructing them to assign as many transports as possible for the completion of the mission.*
Sherman took a seat at one of farther tables in the warhall the moment the presentation began. He didn't really pay much attention to Arcelia talking about required commodities. it was none of his business. He instead focused his attention on the hologram itself. it wasn't too informative, but Sherman had seen enough holograms like that to notice at least a few important details. It was small, required few people to man it and packed a capital-sized punch. He leaned back in his seat, contemplating what was being shown. He could hardly believe that the Empire would organise this meeting for something as mundane as showing off with a new warship and giving their allies a petty shipping contract. There had to be more to it. He was unsure wether the Bortherhood was aware of the Gaians' limitations in the field of logistics, but he decided to wait and see if there could possibly be something meant for them in particular, without him bringing up the subject just yet.
