It was so quiet.

At the same time, so loud.

Luis Benitez planted his foot down upon the ground, crunching the leaves and the twigs beneath them.

It was so real...

The girl kept running forward, and Luis gave chase. She was not difficult to keep up with, but he never seemed able to catch up to her. He glanced at her, studied her from a distance. She was not a Corsair, he could tell from her eyes and the way she wore her hair. But nevertheless, she was entrancing.

She turned around, looked at him with those, piercing, beautiful gray eyes. An explosion of blue radiated from her pupils. Her tongue flicked across her crimson lips.

"Follow me," she whispered, her voice echoing through the wide expanse of the tall trees and flora of the darkened forest.

Follow Follow Follow Follow Follow...

Luis stared ahead, and followed. She needs me, he thought. She's in trouble, and she needs me to help her...

Picking up his pace, Luis followed the running girl into the woods, deeper and deeper, his feet making crunching noises as leaves and twigs broke beneath them.

But Luis was not really running. Instead, his feet lay over the strafe pedals in his Titan while his hand maneuvered the ship, closely trailing behind the glowing blue vessel.
