Further to the recent memo re Promotion Reccomendations, I would like to clarify that there is an open door policy regarding promotion requests.
Pilots and Command staff of ALL ranks who feel that the time has come for them to assert more responsibility, and be promoted accordingly, may request the promotion, WITH REASONS, in Private Comms.
Promotions so requested are certainly not guaranteed. However, they can expect due consideration without fear or favour.
Re : Applications for Promotion to Lieutenant Commander
Pilots, Lieutenant Rank
There are many pilots of Lieutenant Rank deserving of a Promotion to Lt Commander.
However, there are only so many promotions available.
Consequently I am soliciting applications for promotions from Lieutenant to Lt Commander Rank.
Lieutenants wishing to receive a promotion are requested to contact me via private comms.
This represents an opportunity for capable young leaders. But a Lieutenant Commander's role can be burdensome. You must demonstrate your commitment and capability.
Promotions applied for are certainly not guaranteed. However, they can expect due consideration without fear or favour.
