One of them said me they are terrorist and they are exempt of prior RPing... I doubt it so much. Others say they are infected nomads...
I just want to know your point of view about this "funny" scenario: (eyewitness invited!)
Mining helium in my light miner surveyor for some haulers. One Mastodon, totally stopped inside the cloud and 2 ships The Wild (D9 faction) appear. He say "well hello", the other say "dont play that fool game" to his fellow D9... and then he say "Okay. Let's get all serious"... the next message is "Okay.. Then let's kill some" just 9 seconds after. And in 6 seconds later, he destroy the hauler... after that, I moved away... one following me and then engaged me, its normal due I was moving out... I agree with that hehehe, was fun. But I totally disagree, as in other post already posted, its the Uncloak+Engage (silent engagement) several times.
1. 6 SECONDS!!!! Is that enough time for respond an egagement? (checked in LOG file timestamp) Even 10 seconds (as rule say) i think is low time for non english players, its hard to think in another language diferent than yours.
2. Drop just 1 line engagement announce is enough?
3. Mixing roles is usual? now im human, and now Im a Nomad...
4. Uncloak and direct engage is fair behaviour?

To answer your questions:
1. The Wild have a "terrorist ID", that means that they are supposed to be scary as their major goal is killing humans. This usually doesnt work if they tell you the story of their life before shooting you.
2. It technically is, though there should be more, if you can send me the names of the players and the chatlog I will talk with them.
3. Wilds are humans that have been infected by a Nomad. The Nomad uses the humans body as some kind of camouflage, so it is able to do its job (killing humans) in a better way, or sometimes to even get humas to kill each other (Nomads are lazy, so why work if others can do that for you), sometimes it is not necessary to 'hide' that there is a nomad inside, this has happened here and this is why they did not RP as much and proceeded to kill you rather fast.
4. Thats uncool, see number 2.
EDIT: Seems like the one that got shot without a lot of RP F1'd when the Wilds came there. I'd say that you dont have to RP with someone that wont RP back anyways, or?

The first couple ships getting popped WAS the notice to the rest of the system that a cleaning crew was in the house. In contrast the old Das Wilde leader chose his members and ignored applications. He only wanted members he's watched RP heavily in other factions as he himself was heavily invloved with his own regular faction. Strong RPrs only with an ID that didn't require it. I used to be a member myself for quite a number of years. Curious what the story is now. I hope they still represent the 'Space is dangerous' setting and be that sudden tornado appearing out of nowhere on an unsuspecting trailer park.
If at least they showed intentions about "tell us their history"... its ok, but that didnt happens hehehehe.
I all cases... even K'Hara are not exempt of prior RolePlaying for engage. If you think being Terrorist ID you can ignore rule 3... also Xenos must RolePlay before and they are also Terrorist ID hehe.

- Rule 3.1 now applies to K'hara and Indie Nomad IDs.
- Nomads are required to do RP before attacking, uncloaked.
- both respective IDs are being changed to reflect that.
NOTE: this was refered to the OLD rule 3.1, now is rule 3.6 (Roleplay needed for engage)
Well I suppose one of the things that hasn't changed is that I'd still be able to keep my singularity cannon powered on the condensed tears that follow blue messages.
I was there when all this happend. I think johny just wanted to remind everyone about RP rules, it's not rare thing that players brake those rules, it happens all the time and it's bad when you find yourself destroyed and unable to do your work, especially when you follow the rules by yourself like a little nerd and others don't. So this Thread is just a reminder
