Jackal walks into his hangar bay to climb into his fighter to deliver some pilots to their homes instead of out an airlock, and is stopped by a yell.
"Sir! You have some important messages you should respond to!" Jackal hears mutedly through his helmet. A comm tech walks over handing him a plamPC.
A big shrug of shoulders, and a *Whoosh* of breath can be heard, even through the helmet. Jackal takes off the helmet handing it to the Tech. Looking through the comms on the PC he sees that his requests have been ignored, and he had mistaken a meaning of anothers words. Rolling his eyes, he sighs again as he starts pulling his flightsuit off.
"Thanks Mike. I think. I will be in my office." Jackal told the man as he went through the motions so perfected he could do them in his sleep. Removing of the flightsuit and placing each piece where it went so he could gather his thoughts on how to respond to this most recent transgression.
Much too soon he found himself sitting at his desk, itching as usual to be free to fly for a bit. How he loathed to have to do what he knew he must. He reached for his comm and called to his secretary to locate and request his second to come for a chat.
Next he pulled the leaflet from Exile. How he hated having to show his mistakes, he put pen to paper for a rough draft. He would have it typed and sent later.
Exile. I see your point more clearly now. I appologize for my lack of attention and wish I could blame it on lack of sleep. I will deal with this mans scathing tongue straight away. However it works out, I would prefer for such flamable input to be sent via a private channel henceforth. I do not wish to hide things, however, somethings are well, more delicate than others. This one in particular could lead to many sirius wide complications that you may not ever hear of. It pains me to have come to this, already. An example apparently must be set. I will take into account the responses your tirade has brought forth from my Second. He has been through quite a lot, and well, never had any teaching in manners or civility. His heart is in the right place. I just wish it was just the heart, instead of his mouth as well. This will be a chat that will be monitored and recorded for future Raven Pilots to learn from. Exile as for the Duel thing, it is completely within our RP to challenge someone to a duel. This would be interperetted as single combat. Some duels are different. You set the rules before you start. We ARE combat Pilots, not afraid to die in an honorable fight. If this offends you, or any other, that part well, it is too bad. I guess I didn't put our full laws out there yet. I will recitify this soon as I can. One states that we will do exactly this at times. If for no other reason than for some fun interaction and a fair fight. Who doesn't like a fair fight? Or the chance to show their skill? This is the BEST reason for PvP. True RP combat. I think it is much better than a simple..."Your group sucks, die!" Or some other blather. Do you see the point now? I hope.
Culture - I will set all of the Hessians to Neutral till further Diplomacy can be finished. Simple as that. Good point, and exactly why my diplomacy seems a bit rough. Expect a more thourough job soon.
Thexare - Dripping Sarcasm -- Thanks Captain Obvious! True though, however, no matter what rank or command they have. No this is not about any one of us, but the whole. It really isn't even about me. But the group of men and women I represent. Please keep that in mind.
Orin - Yeah, you hit that nail RIGHT on the head. So much for that....but watch.
I will be implementing something along these rules. Many factions do this or similar. I've been through it myself. I simply have not gotten this figured out fully yet. I agree it really WILL weed out the ones incapable of RP. It works quite well.
You still have Bundschuh down as both neutral and hostile, as well as having BMM on hostile (should probably be neutral), and RHA (I think) is listed as hostile. /diplomacy nitpick
Unfortunately due to lack of members and activity, I am hereby putting Raven status to holding as unofficial till a time when it is actually possible to get acceptance to full faction status. From this point forward we will be around, and working towards our goals but will not be applying for official status.
