yes loads more, your 200 crew will go through 200 of fow and RA every 10 hours or is it 8 cant remember, always have at least 4 or 5 times of each, so you should have over 1000 of fow and ra
its best to have 5 ships of supplies docked full of supplies in case of emergencies

I get you. But I still don't understand why the crew didn't start to repair with 200 FOW in store. Obviously they were alive. There was Alloy to repair with. Nevermind.

The secret behind that is that your base see everything below 200 as ZERO ... the base actually see the materials in it's exact count but wont start using it unless it's higher than or equal to 200 units. so the lowest count is 200 units, and that's why when you added 600, then it's enough for the base to see that there are enough supplies for life support and started repairing
As for the information given in this thread, i would like to make a little small correction
Actually 200 crew will eat 200 food, breath 200 oxygen and drink 200 water every 10 hours
But the reinforced alloys don't work like that
your installation regardless of it's core level, consume about 8,900 units of reinforced alloys every 24 hours.
Also Robotic Hardware and Hull Segments will work as reinforced alloys.
There is one small trick, which is if you got the THREE materials on your base at the same time, then the repairing process will be faster than if you have one of them only on your base
If you need any help, then please PM me on @"Nebula Complex" or @Xenon nicknames here on forums
both of them are mine, and i built over 10 player owned bases on discovery so i grantee for you that i have the experience to help you in this matter.
Thank you for your kindness Xenon. Now I have a deeper knowledge of how bases work.
Also I have an idea why a base won't repair if the crew has only 1 load of FOW. This way if a base is running out of FOW you will see its HP getting lower (here on forums) before the crew completely dies off. They have almost a full day before that. Clever mechanics!
