my name is Jacob Taylor, I am the Director and founder of the Omicron Research Group. Recently the Commander of the Military Wing, Alex, has responded to an emergency broadcast expressing the full support of the ORG in this conflict. I couldn't agree more, however I've run into a severe problem. My wife and second in command, Iona Taylor, still is banned from the Freeports and their NFZs. With her being almost half of our Capital Ship presence it is almost impossible for our other forces alone to withstand the onslaught of the Core.
Today, during a Core attack a captain whose position in the Confederation of Freeports is unknown to me, gave her the temporary allowance to enter the Zone to assist the Zoner forces. I will provide the Black Box entry, just if needed:
[06.05.2017 21:49:45] ORG|I-400: Iona: Are you sure that you don't need my help, Confederation Vessels? [06.05.2017 21:49:49] Forlorn|-Regina.SiIva: Yes, were much. [06.05.2017 21:50:08] {CoF}-WhiteFox: Von: Fine, we do [06.05.2017 21:50:10] Core|Ruby.Hydra: You're all granted to fire upon the Order. [06.05.2017 21:50:11] {CoF}-WhiteFox: Von: Do as you must [06.05.2017 21:50:20] {CoF}Gryphon: Sean: Aye
I ask you to make this change permanent as I need her help just as you do in this conflict. We can't underestimate the Core and their power, they've outnumbered and outgunned us with ease several times. If we want to protect the Freeport and it's inhabitants we have to stop clinging onto old hostilities and focus our our firepower on our common enemy, the Core, otherwise we stand no chance in this conflict.
Me and Iona, we've risked our life's and sacrificed our ships several times in an effort to protect your Station and it's people. The ORG will support you with everything we can offer, you have my word, but not until you decided to take the weapons directed at us, and point them at the Core. Then, but only then, I'd be ready to once again face death for the sake of your people.
I hope these words mean something to you.
My name is Debby Wittleman an executive secretary for the Confederation. Your request has been added to the agenda for consideration, but you'll have forgive the Confederation for taking longer than 24 hours to decide if we want to allow a known terrorist to be granted landing rights to our facilities.
Regards,
Debby Wittleman
Confederation of Freeports
The Pilot you refer to in your initial communication was myself. I am Jerard Voncloud Joint Head of the Confederation of Freeports.
Now onto the issue at hand. Indeed your Wife is still seen in a rather bad light due to her involvement with Captain Dross and the Arcadia which i told you when you contacted me directly when i was on board the White Fox. Now Ill be frank here, your position to try to arrange for the Iona to be able to dock at the freeport has been soured due to your actions in space when the Core attacked. During our conversation it seemed to me that despite my denying the Iona you were still willing to offer the assistance of the ORG and stated that the support would just be less due to the lack of a Capital ship. However when the Core did attack, you withheld your support. Instead you called me out in open channel asking if i was sure i didn't want your support, in turn forcing my hand.
What with the Ionas bad reputation and your actions already give me less reason to remove the ban on your wife THEN i get a report from one of my OSI pilots, for even though im head of the Confederation i still remain the second in command and acting CEO of OSI. A Report that quite disturbingly shows that your Wife may be under influence from Nomads. A report of this kind cannot be ignored, as such i will be having to contact Order high command directly and request they investigate this matter.
So the bans will remain in place the Iona is not welcome especially if Nomad infection is suspected. I presume much like you did before you will with hold the support of the ORG, if that is the case then so be it. We can review things once the Order High Command give me a responce and conclusion to an investigation.
