Conrad turner was born 32 years ago to an average family living in an average area on planet Cambridge. He attended an average school, where he got average grades. He used to enjoy sports (especially tennis), but did not really excel. At best, you could have called him ... average.

He left school and bummed around for a bit until his parents' threat of kicking him out unless he began to pay his way, forced him to get a job. His father wanted him to enlist in the BAF, but that wasn't something that the young Conrad could see himself doing.

Instead, he went through a series of low paid jobs - a cleaner, a barman, flipping burgers in a fast food joint - but he never really stuck at them long enough to make any headway.

Then, one day, he bumped into an old school friend whom he hadn't seen in years. By this time, Conrad was 23 and even back then, he could see life whizzing past him way too fast for him to grab hold of it. His friend told Conrad that he'd been working for Orbital Spa and Cruise since he left school and that he loved it. He got to travel the length and breadth of Sirius looking for new places to build new holiday resorts and stay in all of the existing ones free of charge. Great salary, great travel, free hotels and a huge expense account. Did life for a young single gentleman get better than this? He doubted it. He told Conrad to put in an application to O.S&C and he'd see what he could do.

An interview quickly followed and two weeks later, Conrad started the job that he still has today. He flies a Rheinland transport, and ferries supplies all around Sirius to replenish the stocks of existing resorts. Whilst he's not earning the mega-credits that the big guys earn, he makes more than enough to support himself, and not having to pay for any hotels or food, means that most of his income is disposable. It's also not unknown for him to do a few deals on the side and has recently acquired some nefarious acquaintances, although it's currently unknown as to whether these stretch into illegal territory.

Is it the best job in the sector? No. Is it better than any he's had before? Definitely.

One thing Conrad can say without fear of contradiction - it's certainly not average.
