Mason,
There's stuff been happening you might should know about. This being said however, I want this to stay between the two of us only for the time being, until this has been sorted out.
To keep it short, I have heard the latest news about Kiara. They are disturbing, to some extent. Somebody who stood fairly close to her and has decided to go into the matter of her kidnapping on his own has informed me that a considerable amount of this whole story stinks. On Monte Carlo Freeport in Provence, he has met somebody who seemed to either be Kiara or a doppelgänger of hers. (Pseudo-)Kiara appeared to be all fine as though nothing had ever happened to her, but here comes the crux: She didn't pass herself off as Kiara Garlow to him, but as a certain Aurora Moreau, who is said to have been the wife of our defunct slave driver Remy Moreau for one year already. I heard those news only shortly after our victory against the Brigands in Tau-23.
I don't know what is going on there, but apparently the guy who informed me about this has gone missing as well now, after he tried to arrange a meeting with Remy and Kiara. We better find a way to bring light into the darkness, Mason, maybe this is a complete game changer. Something horrible must have happened to Kiara, and we better sort this mess out quickly.
As soon as you're ready, we two have to check Monte Carlo for any remaining information we can gather up there.
As I said, maybe we should keep this between us, at least for now, at least until we know about more than just a few pieces of the puzzle. Are you up for it?
Yours sincerely, Knight Captain Voigt
The Forlorn Hope
Well that's just great, we break our necks to rescue her and she's apparently the god damn wife of the guy. Setting a big demand and not changing it makes sense now, doesn't it? I can't say that all of this turning out to be true would surprise me.
Alright, I'll go with you and keep it to us for now. Just give me a time and place, I'll be there. Mind if I come prepared?

Mason,
Since our offensive yesterday was not succesful and was rather akin to a fiasco, our chances to get Kiara back in whatever way are severely decimated. You know what that means?
Yes. you do. We will have to adopt some ... more drastic measurements. And I need your help once again. Today I have taken another look at the remnants of the debris field from the Tau-23 skirmish. Junkers had not managed to cleanse the whole scene apparently, which equals a miracle, and which furthermore means we have got a stroke of luck finally. What some of Glendalough's team and I could find was a transponder from one of the shot-down Brigand ships. It is almost fully intact. I think at this point you might well be capable of reading my thoughts. Yes, we will do exactly that. We will install this transponder on a civilian ship, and beard the lion in his den. We will sneak into Boulogne and stay until we have searched Kiara out. If we are lucky we might also find her lover, the one who went missing shortly after finding Kiara - or Aurora. And then, when we have found and freed them, all together will we depart as silently as we have come,
I will need some support, and since it will not run as an official Forlorn operation, I have to rely on you for this. The mission however does have a "Forlorn Hope character", if you allow me the pun. This will probably be the very last chance that will present itself to us, so let's better grasp it.
You're in?
Yours sincerely, Knight Captain Voigt
The Forlorn Hope
Well, that sure does sound like an idea you'd come up with at this point. Alright, you have me in on this. Although I will need to know something.
First, should I bring any weapons? It wouldn't be bad to have them if everything goes sideways. And second, how do you plan to free her if she really is captive and locked? We'll need to be ready for everything on this one.
