We've already have brief interactions over the transmission's I've sent out, and I find myself agreeing with you. It is imperative that we work together, more so given the fortune of our respective Freeports being fairly close together. I believe you said you have two ships at your disposal that conduct patrols? If I may, could you tell me a little more about the situation in the region?

Good Evening, Administrator,
Please, call me Blaine. I'd rather be on a first name basis as we'll be working together more.
Yes, I have two patrol ships, both of Zoner design. A gunship and a Q-ship, the MacDonough-A and MacDonough-B. You will probably find many common problems that we have. Trade isn't what it used to be through the Taus dating back to when Bretonia and Kusari were at war and now with the Gallic Royals controlling a lot of our territory, it's no better. Those traders that do pass through don't seem to mind doing business with us. In exchange for a place to rest or just grab some food and drink, they often leave a few units of cargo to help us out. At least Freeport 10 has a decent presence of the IMG on base so you might have more business there.
Also seen there have been the Union Corse. I know little about them but I would compare them to gangsters. If you do business with them, be careful.
Gallic Royals pretty much control most of Tau 23 aside the area around the Outcasts Cali base. The Casts themselves generally leave us alone as they have bigger problems with the Royals, IMG and passing Crayter ships, all of which we have seen. Speaking of the Royals, they like to stay near the jumpgate from Tau 29 to Tau 31 and as with Outcasts, they are also present throughout Tau 31. We generally stay out of Tau 31, going there ONLY when necessary.
IMG working under occupation will also be hostile. Stay away from Java station in 23, Indochine in 23 and Holman Outpost in 31. Unlike the IMG in your space, they sold out to the Royals.
For the moment, Kusari and Gallia governments haven't been too much problem. The last time we heard anything from them they declared that they would not respect the No Fire Zone around a Freeport. I don't mind their absence. I would suggest that we share a common comm channel so that we can better assist each other. If you wish, I'll make a trip up to 10 and we can discuss things further. As I said, it's nice having someone else with common interests in the region again. In the Taus, we are it as far as the CoF goes.
Very well, if we are going to use firstnames, feel free to call me Diana. It would seem that you have quite a handle on the situation out here in the Taus. As you say, in terms of Zoners representing the CoF out here, we are it. Fortunately, we're not entirely alone. The TAZ are in Baffin, and even if they do not fully represent the Confederation, they are close enough to count on. I've already opened talks with several of the inhabitants of the sector, as well as placing orders for ships to serve as Freeport 10's security and response force.
The Crayterians have already contacted me in interests of opening an embassy, and I'm fairly certain that I could bring the Outcasts to an agreement of similar terms. The problems posed by the Kusari and Gallic governments are significantly harder to attend to, but should they begin to show increased activity in the region, we will need to make at least a diplomatic effort to appease them.
The idea of keeping a comm channel open between the two of us is one I can get behind, and while a direct visit by yourself will not be needed at this point in time, given that I'm fairly busy settling into my new role, will be greatly appreciated in the future.
