So, I got a bunch of credits and a stack of Sci data, and I could build a really bad ass Capitol Ship, but it would be wasted on my-crappy-even-after-8years of playing the game pvp skills.
So, I know that there are some really good Capship gamers out there. The ones that organize fleets and know how power core and codename gun schemes mesh and what the best combination of guns with what capital ship is best.
So, the deal is.... each forum account gets to vote for someone else to be put on a list. The TOP 5 people voted get to hash out and decide what the most OP Capship that could be built and build it. Then it would become a shared faction ship of the area that would best fit its role play. I will foot the bill.
Take into account that the more places this ship could go within the RP and Server Rules would be something to consider. If there is a good RP story as to how it got constructed and why. Once it gets killed or destroyed.....its over for it, and the credits are recycled into something else and the process starts over.
Any takers?
oZone.
PS- one vote per account and no alts voting please.
If this gets off the ground a future Discord channel will need to be set up for the 5 peps involved.
You can also post what your favorite build would be and lets say the most voted on model gets in for a 6th vote. That would make six total votes with mine being the tie breaker. Sound fair?
Need to know what codegun combination is OP? Ask the one who made codeguns!
Concerning my own ideas, I have three. Two involve a Dunkirk, and one a Jormugand.
1) Dunkirk. 4 normal pulses + 2 Gale Cannons + 1 Volley Cannon. Allows for effective ranged engagement. The Volley Cannon, which is very efficient and does a lot of damage, helps if you need to charge a ship of the same size or lighter. It also fires multiple rounds at once, which spread, like a shotgun, so it is good against cruisers once you deshield them with your pulses.
2) Dunkirk. 4 Sledge Turrets and 3 Volley Cannons. The sledge turrets are like primaries, except that they are slower, less efficient, but have a significantly greater range (4K?). They will allow you to engage targets that are far, if you can't charge into them. However, the chances are that you will, unless you are fighting multiple enemies or a Valor/Legate, because you have 3 Volley Cannons: the best combination for dealing damage from close. They also have longer range than Cerberuses (2.5K and 1.75K respectively). So, with this you're good both from close and from far away, but it is a lot more expensive than the prior setup.
Oops! Seems Titan has sneakily nerfed the range to 2.5K. Well, guess those are useless now.
3) Jormugand. 3 Siege Turrets. Rest whatever you want. Do I need to explain this?
