Greetings, comrades!

This is our first formal (yet not de facto) contact. Allow me to introduce myself: I am Dr. Mstislav Belov, current Chief Research Officer of the Sirius Coalition Expeditionary Corps. We are an organisation of scientists and explorers of the Coalition. On behalf of our organisation, allow me to greet you, fellow researchers!

I won't lie if I say that we noticed your presence in Omicrons as well as your research endeavours. Our intelligence extensively reported thereon. The previous stance not to interfere and stay cautious was justifiable: in Omicrons one expects the worst. This is exactly what happenned when our reconnaissance beacons in Omicron Kappa reported a strange surge in AI activity yesterday. Following to investigate, SCEC forces alongside SCRA escort and Order vessels encountered a group of 7 big AI nodes besieging Consensus Multiplex, a base that we know to belong to you. After a small study and observation, we were made to attack AI nodes due to their threat to Canaan vessel. Among humans and machines we choose humans and Coalition has always stood on the vanguard of humanity.

The battle was victorious for our side, in the aftermath of which we made contact with one of your vessels. We were more than eager to receive the intel on these AI "ships" and even more surprised to learn of various factions within the AI, infringing our previous theory of a single gestalt-conscience. In this regard we are establishing communications with you, esteemed Zoners of Consensus, requesting more information of the AI. We are well aware of the expertise of the Canaan group on this matter, their being allegedly "linked" to Gammu AI. We are also interested in Keepstar Research Group's expertise in geology, since we are carrying out a joint research operation in Omicron Sigma with the Order on planet Palmyra. In return, we are ready to provide necessary assistance in securing your base and presence in the system. This is just a proposal and can be institutionalised in a formal agreement, stipulating the scope of rights and obligations of the Parties. For now, consider this to be a token of our Friendship.

Greetings, Doctor,

I do not believe that I have had the pleasure of your acquaintance. I am Dr. John Henry Holliday, CEO of Med Force Enterprises and member of the Zoner Consensus. On behalf of the Consensus, I thank you for your transmission and for your concern. Yes, the Omicrons have always been a volatile place and we hoped that making a peaceful, intellectual presence would change that. Sadly, it has not, at least, not yet. The AI's even attacked Med Force One here in Omega 49 not long ago despite our efforts to make good relations with them. Past experiences with AI's have been decent until then.

My history with the Revolution goes back to the days of Premier Katz. I have visited Omega 52 often and still do for some occasional Vodka. It is, after all, the best there is. It has been some time since I have worked with your people and would again welcome the chance. I think, for the immediate term, that just a presence in Kappa might deter these attacks. Still, I will seek understanding with the AI as it is my nature. They....seem to have some interest in me. Why I do not know.

As to other projects, the Consensus takes interest in anything that advances science, knowledge and even peace. I will be passing this information along to my colleagues. For now, I have a Med Force cruiser in the region. It is not a fighting vessel but it can provide needed labs and medical assistance.
