Dear Hessian Friends,

I am very pleased to see the report in front of me that details the first cooperative mining operation in what feels to be years. The discovery of Omega 2 has opened vast opportunities to strengthen the cooperation and take it to a new level.

The IMG convoy would like to extend their gratitude to the Hessian miner that serviced the mining vessels today in an expert way.



After analyzing the data, the IMG deems exploring the O2 resources viable and will also add mining and security assets to Omega 2. That way we can also contribute to the O2 efforts. The Guild expects counter-aggression from Rheinland corporations and their proxies, however I feel that this can be countered after a buildup of infrastructure and forces in the region.

A full report disclosing all significant structures/hazards along with a map of the said system now wearing the name "Vanaheimr" (//Omega-2) should be delivered to the said channel here. The Spezialoperationsabteilung will conduct a more in depth survey now that our mining assets have safely begun to navigate the system. Planet Tangier will host any I.M.G vessels that require a safe haven in the event hostile groups appear. Dear Mr. Rafnkelsson,

First, let me thank you for the offer to use your installation for IMG operations into Vanaheimr - I like the name. I'll instruct the crews to exactly follow your orders once they arrive at Tangier. We know how to behave as guests.

A first survey of potentially interesting structures is forwarded to this channel. While most of the intel consists of simple scans performed by freighter mining and a Shishapangma transport, there might be something that your surveys have not discovered yet. I am attaching the scanner images here.

Do you know by chance who the ruined Hegemon belongs to? It's none of ours but might signal earlier attempts to mine in the region and potentially might hint at resources nearby in case it has not drifted too far. More research there might be useful.

In depth analyses about resource-rich areas outside the one marked with the beacon will take a while but are already being planned. Especially the nebulae around the two proto planets seem interesting. But there is still a lot of work before us.
