House Rheinland's attack on our mutual interests is unacceptable.
The Guild continues to mourn the unnecessary loss of life in Sigma-21. The Rheinland MIlitary must immediately withdraw from the Sigma systems, but unfortunately it would appear the Federal Republic of Rheinland has no intention of executing such a manoeuvre.
GMG's paramilitary has until now assumed a strictly defensive stance in order to avoid exacerbating the situation in Sigma-21 and The Guild still intends on pursuing a peaceful resolution to the matters at hand, but preparations must be made should diplomacy prove unsuccessful.
Guild laws fully prohibit the entry of foreign militaries into our space. However, given the circumstances of today, it is clear our Houses must cooperate more closely than ever to ensure our mutual security.
Rheinland must be pushed out of Guild and Kusari space and we are fully prepared to work in tandem to protect the sovereignty of both House Kusari and the Gas Miners Guild. As such, Kusari's security forces are as of now permitted to enter the Sigma systems at will and link up with Guild forces as appropriate.
It would be most prudent for us to liaise in this matter and conduct our operations together to ensure maximum effect. Therefore, please consider this channel as the go-to for the coordination of our forces.
Our paramilitary is mobilising to strike back at Rheinland. The Guild humbly requests you enter in dialogue with us so we may each support the other and operate with optimal efficacy.
The war in and around the Sigma systems continues, at great unnecessary cost to us all, as discussed recently with a representative of the Kusari Naval Forces. Please find below an excerpt from this conversation.

Sakamoto Ryoma,
It has unfortunately been proven that the war we find ourselves unwillingly embroiled in is benefit to none.
The Guild would like to explore the possibility of a peace with the Federal Republic of Rheinland to restore stability to the area. However, this is not something to be proceeded with without first consulting our friends and allies in Kusari.
Should the Restored Empire of Kusari have the appetite for negotiations, then The Guild is prepared to reach out to House Rheinland to invite them to the table in an attempt to broker a ceasefire. In the meantime, we could, and should clarify our own terms and what we wish to achieve, together.
Should this not be a course of action to Kusari's liking, or should it be attempted but unsuccessful, The Guild stands by your side and is fully prepared for an all-out joint assault on the Frankfurt system, via the Sigma-13 system.
Your thoughts are most welcome.
Cordially,
Keiji Namura
The Guild therefore seeks the opinion of the Kusari government regarding this matter. There is a channel to the Rheinland Bundestag that, while dormant, is already established. This may be utilised in an attempt to begin negotiations, if Kusari is in agreement.
Should this not be to your satisfaction, GMG's paramilitary is poised to escalate military confrontation in the coming days, in support of the KNF effort to dislodge the Rheinland Military from the Honshu system.
If there is anything you would like to discuss, please do not hesitate to do so. We await your stance with thanks.
Kusari has tried to strike a balance between the expansion of Rheinland and the citizens and denizens of the Sigmas, although striving for neutrality has put our people and their welfare in danger. Naturally, the Reformed Empire of Kusari desires peace, but will not surrender the safety of it's people, nor cave in to demands that grow far beyond what their authority endows them.
The Empire is willing to partake with negotiations alongside the Gas Miners Guild, as long as the only condition placed beforehand is a multilateral Truce for the duration of the negotiations. Once that is assured, we will request the Naval Forces to suspend all offensive operations, and set forth to organize a diplomatic commission to handle the negotiations.
Your comments are duly noted and most encouraging.
The Guild will once again attempt communication with the Rheinland Bundestag and will report back with the results as soon as possible. Should there be either no or an unfavourable response, military escalation is our only recourse available.
Should this attempt be met with success, Rheinland will be invited to open negotiations, and while this is being arranged, The Guild and Restored Empire of Kusari may begin to formulate a diplomatic stance in privacy before putting it to Rheinland.
