It's been a while since I've seen or heard of you, we haven't spoke since the Legión's fall over an year ago. I hope you're doing well.
The reason I'm contacting you is because Aquila and I have been trying to gather what's left of the old Legión. I know you might have your reservations about this. I'm well aware of our past mistakes that lead to it's downfall. If I could I would set back time and undo the wrong, alas such thing is impossible for a mortal. But I do believe this could be a chance to set things right, what was done is done, the future on the other hand is still within our grasp.
As things stand, Malta is divided, the Amalfi Directorate, the Serenissima, the venerable National Council. Each of them looking at their own interests, neither seeing the looming danger - Rheinland encroachment in the Sigmas, the Gallic grip tightening further in the Taus. I know it sounds hypocritical offering a new faction on the Maltese landscape as a solution to this division, but I care not for power or control over our dear homeworld. Past mistakes have shown me that fighting our own kin for power over Malta is a grave mistake. Our focus should instead be on our Nación's external threats and this is the direction I hope to lead the Legión Maltesa towards.
If you still believe in what we stood for and if you're ready to put your trust in the rest of the legionaries beside you then we would be honored to fight side by side you once again. And if not, I personally would not blame your decision, but hope that with time our actions would change it for the better.
Malta is our home,
we are still it's sons and daughters.

I'll keep it nice and short. You remember I will be gone if we take a turn in the wrong direction again but I am in. The chance of reviving our ideas and ideals is better than working for selfish mercenaries for sure. I already am on Cali base, look for my ship in the hangar to find me.
