What in the goddamn hell of a mess is this. No wonder I've had no reports from Rheinland for over a month now. This whole mess of a situation has had the Council of Elders in uproar since we received your message. Many Elders agree with Hermano Nikitas- your lapse of telling us about this "tragedy", and the holes and contradictions of your story do little to placate us- You didn't want to hand them the shipyard, so you just surrendered? Who in the hell is running your tactical decisions, a dim-witted child? And then you have the gall to blame us- or the Apostata's? They were exiled from Crete months ago for that exact sort of treasonous behavior.

The Council has been called to vote on how to treat this- but till this matter is sorted, we won't be welcoming any Unioner vessels into our home systems. After, and if, the investigation we send finds you innocent, at least of betraying us, then perhaps we can see what you can do to salvage your open access to our Artifact markets, despite your incompetence.
