"Goodday gents, Eva Thorn here. I know we tend to keep to ourselves, but I think a joint operation is in order here. I've had our resident ex-hacker secure this transmission as much as possible given the sensitive nature of its contents. Anyways, straight to the point; we were on a resupply run last night and, by complete, random, improbable chance came across an amazing find. I'll include our visual upload and some preliminary scanner results with this broadcast. This is a salvage job that we cant handle alone, and one that should prove to be extremely profitable for all involved. I dont even know where to begin here, as this thing dwarfs the Tenacity completely, and she's a big bird herself. We dont often operate in this area of space, but leaving this one to the crows would be passing on a once in a lifetime job. We've already dropped a nav beacon to mark the location, as I dont think we'd be able to find this thing again in a hundred years if we let it out of sight. We'll do some preliminary surveys while awaiting aid for any real salvage work."

"Kera Thorn, here. Initial surveys show extreme damage suffered to the ship and its superstructure. Most systems are heavily damaged or outright destroyed. Some may be salvaged for parts, or even repaired, but I dont see this bird flying again without an entire overhaul, might as well build a new ship if you want to go that route. There's a massive amount of scrap here, though; and a lot of it is ablative armor and high-grade hull materials, could fetch a good price. Battleship-grade scanners on this thing, valuable, could be removed and repaired for resale with a bit of work. Only a couple compartments are still pressurized, near the center of the ship; we should be able to patch up at least the command deck and engineering without too much fuss though, and re-pressurize them from the Tenacity's docking collar. Unfortunately the cargo bay was blown wide open by hostile fire, nothing of value left in the vicinity. I say we scrap what we can, rip off whatever can be repaired, and give the rest to The Order to do with as they will. We still need help and more salvage teams out here though, awaiting response."
I've had'ta really mull the idea've this one over. Normally, I wouldn't mind gettin' my hands dirty with a salvage operation! 'Specially with somethin've this size an' age - Somethin' from 817 AS? She's an ol' girl, ain't she?
I know the Congress' got some sort've deal between us an' the Order, what with the recent installation we got set up out in Omicron Minor; we're supposed'ta be cleanin' up things there an' gettin' ships back'ta their respective owners, or meltin'em down'ta manifolds if they ain't worth savin'. I'm gonna level with 'ya though, Eva: I'm Liberty born an' raised, an honestly, I ain't none too sure about them Order types. I'm none too keen on helpin' deliver a ship like this'ta the Order, but I'll tell 'ya what: I'll at least come out an' take a look at it, maybe see what needs'ta be done with it.
I think I'll bring my sister Becky along with me, too - She's usually pretty up fer road trippin' out 'ta new places. I've got a good reason'ta be checkin' this thing out, since 'ya mentioned the possibility've a few still-pressurized sections near the center've the ship. Do 'ya reckon maybe, someone migh' still be alive in there? I'm jus' theorizin' here, but would a carrier-class ship, even a light one, have emergency cryogenic pods fer situations like this?
What if someone's stranded in there needin' rescuin'? That alone's enough've a reason fer me'ta check things out, regardless of who it might be. Even if there's jus' bodies... Well, I reckon gettin' them home regardless is the right thing'ta do.
S'this ship in Minor, given that it went down fightin'ta defend Toledo? Or, s'it somewhere's else entirely? Toss me the coordinates via private channels, would'ja please? I'm chompin' at the bit 'ta move 'em out, now that I thought've the possibility of life on board. I know it's slim-'ta-none odds, but 'ya never know, right?
~~Happy Trails,
~Sandra Carter

"Glad to hear from you Sandra, we hadn't considered the possibility that anyone might be alive down there, thermal scans are completely negative, but cryo-pods could be a possibility. Kera is doubtful, says in a combat situation with a ship this size going down, cryogenic stasis procedures just wouldn't be quick enough, though I suppose if the deck wasn't vented into space yet time could be a null factor. We're sending coordinates now; have a safe flight out here, the omicrons are dangerous."

I've informed Eva that this ship may be beyond our capabilities to salvage, and even if we did spend the time and bring in the extra manpower and ships necessary to tear it apart for scrap, there's little we might gain. The computer systems might have some valuable information, but they're completely scrambled with an encryption cipher that I've never even seen before. Normally weapon systems would sell for a decent price on the black market, especially high tech weapons like the order uses, but everything is completely wrecked and not worth the effort."
"It is my recommendation at this time that we try to recover some of the cost of this job by selling the ship's location back to the Order. They would have far more interest in one of their derelicts of this size, and any profit is better than no profit for us. We've received contact information for an order cell known as the Legacy of Orillion, and I think they'd be willing to play ball. I'll go ahead and send the details and see if we can patch them in."

Didnt expect a message from the junkers, but I'll bite. My commanding officers in The Legacy have been informed of the situation here and have authorized me to investigate the derelict and ascertain it's value to our cause. I'll be arriving on Tarancon shortly, and look forward to our meeting.
