We appeal to the Gallic Royal Navy today in a time of great need. As much as we attempt to balance our diplomacy between houses while maintaining diplomatic ties with all of them, it seems the Kingdom of Bretonia is no longer interested in respecting our neutrality. As you have likely already heard, they have laid claim to our shipyard in Omega-3, Aland, and while we do not expect the Crown's support in the Omegas, we are in need of your support regardless.
To be truthful, many guildmembers do not condone the occupation of the Taus by the Gallic Crown, but we have never been asked to give up our facilities for the construction of warships to be used against other houses, as Bretonia has just done. We do not intend to give up our shipyard, and are likely to enter a state of war with the Kingdom of Bretonia, which will endanger several of our holdings.
We have no hope of holding Cardiff, in the middle of an untroubled system along the lanes, and we cannot expect your support for the actual war goal, Aland shipyard.
What we wish to ask you is to reinforce your efforts in northern Newcastle, around our station of South Shields. We intend to cut the lanes to slow the Bretonian advance, but it's our understanding that a major warfleet is stationed in the system, even though it lacks reliable reinforcements. We will have no hesitations to allow open docking to Gallic vessels on the station if it will help preserve our independence. It seems unlikely that there will be a secure trade route established anytime soon, or even that South Shields will be able to focus on production instead of defense at all, but if that comes to pass, we will have plenty of hydrocarbons for sale.

Monsieur Yao,
So the Bretonians show their true hand haven't they? Claim to be the victim, yet exercise their imperial ambitions even as they are on their last breaths.
In light of this news the Marine’s plans ultimately don’t change. New London will fall and the rest of Bretonia soon after. However we are willing to provide some accommodations to help mitigate IMG’s loss in the short term. The Marine is willing to offer snubcraft and weapons for your fight, this should not be too difficult considering Java’s proximity to the Guillestre and our logistics already run through that system. I shall redirect you to the Direction générale de l'armement, should you apply you will be approved for Category C hardware.
As for your assets in Bretonia, the Hood should not be too difficult of an issue. If she is able to be towed you can bring her near the Carillon which can provide a buffer against any pittance the Bretonians can spare. South Shields presents a more delicate situation, as the forces there are not under my jurisdiction. Though since you have offered your bases as staging points for Marine forces we can use South Shields to stage fighter raids onto the Bretonian Battlegroup Ark Royal. Combined with the RNS-Embrum we could achieve at the least a stalemate and prevent any Bretonian forces from leaving orbit of Darlington. Once New London has fallen they will be quickly mopped up.
Cordialements
