Agent,

As we discussed in Omega-3, I am unsure if you've submitted your report as of yet but I wish to update you on my progress. Our efforts to negotiate peace between both parties have failed, in spite of several alternatives being taken into consideration by their Government after being outlined by myself and Guildmaster Yao of the Independent Miners Guild. Temporary involvement on the behalf of the Red Hessians was there, who even offered to support the proposals being made.

However the ruling government had determined to maintain their outlined course of action, regardless of the mutually assured destruction it would cause. It's within my professional opinion that direct intervention is necessary to end the situation and force the consideration of all alternatives. Time not withstanding.
