My apologies for any dents Freeport Eleven may have sustained today, but it seems the Corsairs have about as short fuses as I have come to expect from my position, and not nearly as good a sense of humor. There are much better things I could be shooting at, but nyet, today I had to shoot at a bunch of crazed, starved mongrels who don't deserve a tenth of the praise and boasting they seem to put forth.

My one hope coming from this is that you recognize them and their leadership as the marauding threat they are. I know full well that your Freeport has gone through quite a few exploiters in its relatively recent history.

To that end, and to the real enemy, the Peoples' Republic of the Sirius Coalition is willing to divert materiel and assets as deemed necessary to secure the Freeport from any further, problematic interference. I, for one, was quite amused with the conversations.

While I appreciate your kind words, and offer for support. Currently, with situations escalating again within the Delta system, I must look to our own forces primarily, as well as allies who are in the system already.

I just hope that you and your friends are safe. I just cannot accept any further assistance at this stage without provoking further consequences for the station.

I'm sending this next communique from Tau-37. I've managed to get myself and my men's eject pods well out of reach of the Coalition's adversaries. Countermeasures, it turns out, are still integral to modern shipping.

If you think your neutrality will prevail, I won't stop you from attempting that course. But the Corsairs are always very quick to reach for the triggers of their guns, not to mention all the more "Usual" suspects operating in Omicron.

I will leave you in goodwill now, but the next time the Nomads become a factor, though, I want to know. Delta, and especially Freeport 11's ubiquity as a strongpoint in that regard cannot be ignored entirely.

But please remember, I take the upholding of the No Fire Zone incredibly seriously since taking this position, as I don't want the lives of the people on my station put at risk. Not that you or your team would ever do such a thing.
