The Duterte was commissioned at 693 A.G.S. as part of deterrant forces against The Council. Being one of the last Richelieu Class Dreadnoughts, the Dutertre posessed a more efficient powergrid and lower-burn CNORx-67N engines. While seeing little to no conflict in early years of her service under Commandant Pierre Ouvray, the vessel started to see active combat under command of Commandant Philipe Belkhodja as invasion of Sirius began. Plowing through the now breached minefield of Orkney and getting a foothold there for the first year of conflicts and later accompanying forces spearheading into Taus, Dutertre contributed to occupation of Tau 44 at 734 A.G.S. and helping the Guillestre to station at Tau 23. As of 735 A.G.S. Dutertre was diverted into Leeds front. Assisting against attacks of Bretonia Armed Forces and the Liberty Navy and defending Leeds from incursions after the capture until 739 A.G.S. Dutertre was called for an in depth refit and maintenance to Ile-de France at late 739. Staying at Burgundy system for refitting process for several months, Dutertre was given full operational status back at mid 740.
The refit done Rambouilette Shipyard included improved navigation and targeting systems, a better thought out powergrid layout and a newer generation power array, newly produced CNORx-86R engines and installation of an AI command assistant unit dubbed "Le Voyageur".
At 741 A.G.S. the Commandant Philipe Belkhodja retired from service and Second Rose-Marie Dumont was given the command of Dutertre. Over the course of 741, the Dutertre benefitted from partnership with Corsairs and battles with Crayter in the form of lend-leased weaponary and reverse engineered prototype technology, such as a Cloaking Device and Mark IV Jump Drive, alongside several rare weaponary.
As of 742, Dutertre is stationed at New London and assists the battle at New London.
