My name is Arthur Morrison, and I lead the R&D Division over here at BMM, based out of Medway dock in Omega-3, which I am sure you well know is in close proximity to the anomalies located within Omega-2. I have met your research vehicles out in the field, and as ever the BMM and BMF - both crown corporations - enjoy a friendly and fruitful relationship.
As for my operations in Omega-3, they pre-date the upheaval in the system, which was once peaceful, and the destruction of the Gwent just a few clicks from my station was quite a traumatic experience for the mostly civilian populace of my station. We were fortunate that the Hessian attackers were beaten back in a timely fashion, though unfortunately not to save the already crippled Gwent from being destroyed. We did our best to rescue the BPA personnel and prisoners that were incarcerated there. As a result of the deterioration of security, we have upgraded our security considerably.
Now, to the matter at hand. While our station is suitable for research purposes, with more than enough storage capacity for data housing server infrastructure, as well as basic materials to maintain the base, the dispersal of the IMG from the system has left a void in the mining conducted by them previously, and the BMM would seek to improve its mining logistics capabilities, and our pre-existing base was selected for this task. R&D will continue as before, but mining teams will also join us. Perhaps we can even cooperate to conduct some research on the comet in unison, but that is a topic for another time.
As such, we are being necessitated to upgrade our modular base for further cargo capacity. The task for upgrading the base falls to the R&D department, as the rest of BMM is occupied elsewhere. Our resources are stretched quite thin as a result of the war, and the BMF is well regarded as, I believe, the most experienced and prestigious base construction firm in Bretonia, perhaps even in Sirius as a whole.
Is it possible the R&D Department can acquire the aid of BMF in this base upgrade project?
Sincerely,
Professor Arthur Morrison, Cambridge University & BMM R&D Division

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Dillan Hunt CEO at BMF, ofcourse you can count on BMF expertise on the expansion of your installations, our Corporations have cooperated several times in the past, from base construction and mining operations to the sharing of all installations, our companies cooperation has shown that it can bring great advantages for bouth parties.
Given our long history of cooperation, we will not be charge any extra fee for this job, all we need is that your dock masters are ready to start receiving incoming shipments from BMF vessels.
A list depicting the needed materials at this time would be very much appreciated.
In what concerns mining operations, we at BMF have a permanent storage contract with the Zoners from Geneva Shipping Platform, an installation neighboring Freeport 1, witch we have been using for the "hard to mine" Cobalt ore, with the depletion of the Raw Hidrocarbons mining field in Omega 3 aka Snowdown, we had the need of finding another source of income, even with the difficulties of mining such mineral, we took on this dificult task , thus ensuring a steady cash flow for the Bretonian Crown.Best Regards,
Dillan Hunt

I am most relieved to hear you fine fellows at BMF are willing to help the BMM in our time of need. We do have some purse available to us, and if you are able to help us bring this base up to par, we will empart with as much as is physically possible.
As for the resources required, the project has just begun. Therefore all required goods for a standard base upgrade project are required. We are certain a large portion of the resources can be acquired from nearly centers, but such items as Optronics, Nanomembrane Filters, and indeed the considerable haul of materials from Newcastle and New London are a task and a half.
Let's call it a "Best effort" contract shall we? You do your utmost to fulfill the contract in unison with our own supply transports, and once all is said and done, we will reward you with as much as we can. Naturally the upgraded base will be fitted with Cargo departments which will be at the BMFs complete disposal for mining efforts in the future.
Once all is said and done, the BMF and BMM will be finely placed in the Omegas to exploit the Cobalt and perhaps Uncut diamond market in the future.
Sincerely,
Professor Arthur Morrison, Cambridge University & BMM R&D Division
Firstly, I must apologies for our slow preparations in relation to this matter, we have carried the majority of the "local" commodities to the base, delivering the required Robotic components, Reinforced Alloy and Plasfoam Conduits, all sourced within Omega-3, now we must look to the commodities from further afield, a task I hope the BMF can aid us in.
We need to set up the prices for each commodity in relation to distance, and supply our dock-masters with the required funds, and I hope to get this operational sometime within the day. If you are indeed making delivers in advance, please do not hesitate to ask for reimbursement. For clarification, the below prices will be set for the remaining deliveries, please do check to see if it is within your expectations;
1. Optronic Arrays, base price $350, 6 systems distance, $350 x 6 : $2,100 buy price, rounded up to $2,500.
2. Nanomembrane Filters, base price $250, 5 systems distance, $250 x 5, $1,250 buy price, rounded up to $1,500.
3. High Performance Alloy, base price $300, 3 systems distance, $300 x 3, $900 buy price, rounded up to $1,000.
4. Industrial Hardware, base price $200, 3 systems distance, $200 x 3, $600 buy price, rounded up to $1,000.
5. Heat Sinks, base price $500, 2 systems distance, $500 x 2, $1,000 purchase price, no round up.
6. Hull Segments, base price $500, 2 systems distance, $500 x 2, $1,000 purchase price, commodity takes 2 cargo hold, so purchase price doubled to $2,000.
This will be as it is set up, and I can change it if you have any comments. While some of the components have already been delivered, based on the assumption that none have been delivered, the estimated budget for upgrade is as follows;
It seems a fairly modest budget for the effort required, perhaps I messed up my calculations somewhere, perhaps we should be paying more for some of the above items? Please do weigh in.
Sincerely,

It is in rare occasions that our eyes can feast upon such bold projects like yours,
Indeed it seems obvious to extend our cooperation in such installation, the Cobalt will bring great profits to the Crown,
Although, i should say that the Uncut Diamonds are hard to get our hands on,
Our research department recently conducted several experiments in the Omega 2 system regarding Space anomalies,
Reports are of constant attacks and raids by pirates and rebels alike, most of our scientists returned to our HQ,
Isle of Skye terrified, and only agreed on continuing research after refitting their vessels with cloaking technology .
This is a very dangerous ground to conduct Uncut Diamonds mining operations..
On other matters, your calculations seem accurate as it would be expected from a professional, after our accountants department analysis your contract is hereby accepted.
In any case, we are pleased to inform that some of our operatives are already on the terrain making the initial assessment for Medway Dock expansion project,
Given the "nuisance" that Omega 3 has been to our operatives, we also allocated FortiSec HSLR BMF|FS-Fide fleet to the system,
Of course our security wing will extend its support to any and all BMM vessels in this operation.
Expect our first convoys to arrive in the next 48 hours. Best Regards, Dillan Hunt
