I'm interested in the slow-turning-super-fast-interceptor idea.
I was in a situation today where being in one of those would have been wonderful for my faction.
As stated before, at the moment there is no real interceptor, and that's a slot that i would love to see filled.

a problem with high speed dodging / thrusting is that the point at where to aim is so far away from the actual ship, that you can really only spray and pray anymore. so, even if a ship drained its thruster 4 times faster for twice the thrusting speed ( which would still be unbalancing godly ) - and it was the size of a patriot... and if it only had 2lvl8 guns - it would still be invincible.
you d get a ship that cannot kill - but also cannot be killed... how should a pvp look like. - doding for hours until one player gives up and simply "takes the 4 hours lock out for retreating"?
