Earlier today, one of ours found an Agent of yours traversing our space. In the face of a quite agitated adversary, we were able to garner that they were sent there in order to investigate us — there is no other explanation for why they would visit the little system you call Omicron Lost.
How can I be of assistance to you, Sir? Originally, I was from Bretonia as well. Cambridge, in fact. A nobody, really. You should know that the trip to the Omicrons is quite dangerous and it would not have been necessary to endanger your man this way. After all, the Vagrants in Lost naturally presume that an intruder is not there with good intentions. Even the Velvet pilots were not kind to them. It even seemed hostile. All of this could have been prevented if you had not thought of the objects of your search as animals who cannot understand your primitive methods of communication.
For context: A transcription of the observed conversations attached.
[13.09.2019 10:52:32] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Not in front of the Zoner.
[13.09.2019 10:52:51] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Who seems to understand little about privacy and communication.
[13.09.2019 11:08:06] Velvet|Bort: An order? Seriously? Whoever gave that order... is not too smart, right?
[13.09.2019 11:08:41] Velvet|Bort: Apparently, no.
[13.09.2019 11:08:46] Velvet|Bort: Given that you're here.
[13.09.2019 11:09:46] Velvet|Bort: So you have no idea of why were you sent there except it was 'the order'.
[13.09.2019 11:10:19] Velvet|Opal: "Arriving on station."
[13.09.2019 11:10:23] Velvet|Bort: Hello there.
[13.09.2019 11:10:36] Velvet|Bort: They go where they please.
[13.09.2019 11:10:51] Velvet|Opal: "Lost Jumphole tends to bring out the worst in Nomad ships."
[13.09.2019 11:11:03] Velvet|Bort: I did this to myself.
[13.09.2019 11:11:32] Velvet|Bort: You're in Delta, and you do answer to us.
[13.09.2019 11:12:33] Velvet|Opal: "We are Zoners."
[13.09.2019 11:12:52] Velvet|Opal: "The leader of Velvet is the Zoner administrator of Freeport 11, within Delta."
[13.09.2019 11:13:05] Vagrant.Hestyaea: *The Nomads keep their distance to the human ships for now, observing.*
[13.09.2019 11:13:08] Velvet|Opal: "So this is entirely within our purview
[13.09.2019 11:13:39] Velvet|Opal: "This is still within our patrol paths."
[13.09.2019 11:14:02] Velvet|Bort: And you casually wander around Lost, chatting with Nomads, referring to the order your superiors gave to you.
That is quite correct. I ordered a number of agents out in the hopes of making contact. I am glad to see one made it through. Suffice to say that this not a conversation anyone in Bretonia wanted to have, however need outweighs want and so the task has fallen to myself to initiate a conversation with you.
I should stress that we are, at this moment, only exploring a conversation with you, the subject of this conversation is one that we believe you have some knowledge about, trade lanes and Jump Gates. If you are willing to have this conversation with us, then we may begin. If not, then there is no need for you to reply.

Director of the Secret Intelligence Service
My guess would be that you are needing someone to repair the damage caused by the Gallic in the wake of their retreat. Is Ageira extorting horrendous amounts of money from you? If your aim is to ask them to provide you with the technology to build these constructs, your chances are rather slim. If a stranger comes to you, chances are that you will not give them one of the most valuable things you own. However, you might provide them with accomodations — that is only curteous.
If it is a meeting you want, then meet them above the great city in the atmosphere of Planet Darlington. They will be waiting.
