Yet another day passes in the harsh environment we are calling home, shaping by tooth, nail and elbow grease. My soldiers are working tirelessly, just as I do, for a better future. Bordeaux is kind of a nice change of scenery after being stuck in endless hell on space that was Leeds. Constantly quelling resistances, supply problems, always needing to be aware of your sorroundings on cityscape.... We are still living a hell, We are anything but our former, mighty selves carrying the banner of our great kingdom now. Despite all hardships we endured and still enduring, it is nice to know you can trust your company and breathe fresh air without worrying about some psycho Bretonian trying to rip your head off. Give it enough time and manpower, we will make Bordeaux a worthy home befitting our way of living.
Must say, Gallic doctrines are paying off in survival and versatility and I will ensure it stays that way, however, not without adapting to our current reality. We can not throw warmachines left and right and expect to outlast our enemies with superior numbers anymore. That calls for one thing: making the absolute maximum out of every vessel. While my battlegroup always had jump-capable vessels, it is time to make use of the tech more. We may not have our old allies, however EDA R&D is resourceful, they can achieve this goal. Amiral Clement may oppose the that idea of mine. After all, every jump is a risk, as we saw guncams taken at Omega-3. I would not want to share the same fate as the commander of that Dreadnought called "Olympia" for sure. Nonetheless, time to get to extra work.
