A Gefreiter of the Kaiserliche Marine has just reported in an operation report on a routine check of a transporter carrying depleted uranium, a commodity used by the federalists to maintain their movement.

When asked where he got this illegal commodity, he replied that it was being sold at the New Augsburg Outpost^[1], which in retrospect turned out to be true.

I doubt I need to tell you how serious this offense is, given the current situation. It can, therefore, be concluded that ALG is working with the Federalists.

I would like you to have the opportunity to comment on this before we take further steps.

Sehr geehrte Frau Reichert,

I have now heard this form of "argumentation" often enough. The people of Rheinland have long since spoken out in favor of a change to an empire and made this clear in the elections. It cannot be assumed by Rheinland's former government that they would have allowed any changes that would have led to a redistribution of power.

The level of corruption in the former federal government was incredibly high, as was the readiness for war. The designation of the Kaiserreich Rheinland as a "rebel monarchy" is wrong in this sense, as is the designation of a "hostile takeover". I recommend that you reconsider your point of view and instead of blind political slogans coming from the federalist side, switch to actual arguments.

I do not like to threaten you and your management, but to believe that ALG can continue to operate undisturbed on Rheinland territory and be allowed to join the federalists would be extremely naive on your part. You should therefore not be surprised if your facilities and resources are about to be confiscated by the government, if necessary with the violent support of the military and police.

I, therefore, recommend that you adopt a new approach, which will bring an end to your hostile attitude towards us, or you and all the federalist staff of ALG will leave the territory of Rheinland as soon as possible.

Do not see this act as a tool of power to endanger you and your employees. Your alliance with the federalists will cause more damage and end lives than your supposedly good cause could morally provide.

As you should know by now, we do not respond well to threats.

It may surprise you to learn that ALG is well prepared for this challenge. Over the past decade, perhaps longer, It has hardly taken a soothsayer to foresee that the Republic has been on an inexorable path leading to the situation we find ourselves in now. I point to the pointless conflict with the Reformed Empire, the relentless harassment of the GMG and IMG, the complicity in Bretonia's murderous, expansionist ambitions in the Omegas and the endless repression of worker revolution in the glorified sweatshops that exist throughout this house. The list of symtoms is nearly endless. For years it has been plain for all to see that the heart of government in Rheinland has been infested with those without a heart. And on the rare occasion that progress of substance has been made, such as the normalisation of relations with the Bundschuh, it has been reversed by reactionary elements within government. This too was anticipated.

During this time, though our influence within this house was slight, we have not lain idle. ALG has strengthened and forged anew alliances across Sirius. We have beaten ploughshares into swords and amassed the most capable defence force ever fielded by a Rheinland corporation, and we have constructed new homes and facilities outside your poisonous influence. While imperialist worms ate away at the fabric of government and justice, we looked to a future beyond the house you have decayed. As you slaughtered, we sought out respect for life.

You are right that the machinery of the Federal Republic is corrupt. It has been corrupted with autocrats, dressed-up fascists and traitors like yourself. Though you did not realise it, you yourself have brought about the events that will cleanse Rheinland of this blight. Make no mistake: our people know where they stand and what they fight for - for freedom, dignity and democracy.

If you wish to interpret this communication as a declaration of war, do so. We are more than ready.

Sehr geehrter Herr Stohl,

I have nothing further to add to your dogmatic accusations, insults, and slander. You would be mistaken if you believe that your technology can remotely defy the war machine of Rheinland. I am deeply shocked that parts of ALG are using such means to support a government whose ruthless actions you are well aware of. All this under the mistakenly spread agenda that Rheinland suffers from a fascist autocracy. I have said it before and I stand by it, if the Kaiserliche Marine serves a fascist-autocratic state, then this shall be the end of me. Until then, however, I will defend our country against the misinformed mass of federalists who wish our nation to suffer and be in need.

If you have improved your foreign policy to such an extent that you are guaranteed a safe stay outside of Rheinland, then I ask you and your ALG department to take this opportunity and leave Rheinlandwithout violence.

Freedom, dignity, and democracy are guaranteed under the Emperor. Now and forever.
