Beloved brethren of The Brotherhood,

After decades of diplomacy hosted by Zoners at Freeport 9, the first colony of United Hispanians has been established. Corsairs, Outcasts, and Hispanian Zoners agreed to stand together under the newly-formed Hispanian Unity Concordium, led by wise envoys from Crete and Malta, men and women with the will to create a future for any Hispanians that do not wish to participate in the territorial conflict created by the collision of the Cardamine and Artifacts trade routes in the Sigma star cluster.

For years, I have been the trusted escort of these envoys, and as my own understanding and experience grew, so did my love for the peoples of both Crete and Malta. The colony ships of the Concordium, the seeds of peace and hope for a better future, direly needed a group of guardians. To protect the colonists of the Concordium, two privateer flotillas have taken shape. I was asked to lead Solidus Squadron of the vanguard flotilla. This had already taken place during our engagement of the Bretonian patrol in the space above Gran Canaria several weeks ago.

The members of both flotillas that protect the Concordium have become known as the Hispanian Crusaders.

• Crusaders will protect Corsairs in Corsair space and beyond.
• Crusader ships that are lost will be replaced using Concordium credits.
• The Concordium has its own supply chain; any Corsairs that become colonists or even Crusaders, do not use Crete's limited food supply.
• Crusaders will honor Corsairs and Outcasts in the best way they can, and not participate in conflict between them.

Know that I will always watch over my brethren, one way or another. The colonists of the Hispanian Unity Concordium have the greatest love for the entire Hispanian people. We Crusaders will protect them, and Corsairs and Outcasts, when possible. Please continue to count on me, when circumstance allows it. Although my 13 years of loyal service to The Brotherhood are now completed, my sister Kaelia Moya remains in The Brotherhood and is now formally the longest serving member of the fellowship. Although Kaelia is not famous for her combat experience like me, she is still a cunning cargo ship pilot. My father still continues his work to improve Corsair engine systems.

The Gallic Brigands, a group that is neutral to Corsairs and Outcasts, have offered to aid all Crusaders. They provide supplies and surplus equipment for an extremely low price to us, so we will also help them in return. The Transponder ID of the Crusaders is CRUX (Chi-Rho-Upsilon-Xi). I look forward to flying with you and other members of The Brotherhood, continuing to defend you - perhaps no longer in a Corsair ship, but always with a Hispanian heart of Cretan ancestry.
