”Storta” RM-2A Outcast Destroyer with Freelancer IFF, SRP ID (See Spoiler Information)

The MCS-Nightmare is a Storta Destroyer, first purchased by the Vagrant Raiders in 817A.S. She now operates independently as a mercenary vessel for hire, specializing in heavy weapons support.

This ID is used by the MCS-Nightmare, which can:
- Can attack any ship in pursuit of a contract.
- Can attack any ship in self defense, or to protect allied ships.
- Cannot use any ships other than the Outcast Destroyer.
- Can only dock on Freelancer Stations, Freeports, Allied Modular Stations and Allied Stations with Drydock facilities.

(Basically this is a modified Freelancer ID with some extra limitations)

4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?
The Nightmare has had a long and storied past with the Vagrant Raiders as a fire support platform. This ship has always been an “independent” warship that supports allies with heavy firepower. The Outcast ID/IFF, while it allows for a pretty large ZOI it would limit the interactions that I can have with the ship, and force interactions into a black/white category, as opposed to a more grey tone I wish to achieve with this ship.

5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planning to achieve on this character?
- Continue to RP as a Fire Support Asset for (unlawful) groups around Sirius.
- Gain new allies and employers for above.
- Gain allies with sufficient shipyard facilities to maintain the Nightmare in Combat Operations. (The Junkers already serve this purpose, but it limits the locations the ship can base out of. Additionally, the Junkers where quite adamant about not bringing problems to their doorsteps)
- Hire personnel to assist the Nightmare in the execution of contracts, be it negotiation, fire support or offensive operations. (Freelancer ID/IFF Snubs. No faction is planned at this time, more a collection of motley fools)

- Old RP I did when I left VR, tied up recently. Basically a bridge between the old Vagrant Raiders and my current RP, as well as explaining what happened to the Nightmare back in 817AS.
- Primary RP thread regarding the Discovery and Reconstruction of the Nightmare. Included is also backstory on Billy, as well as the Ship. Introduce all secondary characters as well.
- Commlink Fluff to list the Nightmare trying to send out a distress beacon after being defeated in the Barrier Gate Nebula.

- Thread with Natio Octavarium/Vagrant Raiders to discuss ownership of the Nightmare, as well as hire Aquila Defense Systems to complete the Computer Systems overhaul on the Nightmare.
- Commlink to Hispania Imperial to negotiate a new deal regarding the Nightmare, so that the Outcasts don't assume someone has stolen the Storta.

8. How long has this character been building its backstory?
This ship (The Nightmare) was first purchased by the Vagrant Raiders in 2009 from the Outcasts. There it served as an SRP ship until 2013, when Thexare and Kazinsal took over and shifted the Vagrant Raiders to become a quasi-lawful organization.

After discussions with the Natio Octavarium Leadership I was allowed to take over inRP ownership of the Nightmare and attempt to rebuild the ship (and apply for a new SRP). The ship itself has existed for 2 months now, however as inRP it was still being reconstructed I did not fly her. However, I have been flying a support ship "More.Than.Enough" and a snub craft "Apparition" piloted by a crewmember onboard the Nightmare has been flying around during this last month. Last week I went on a raid into Liberty with a Hispania Imperial pilot on what was a "trial run" while flying under the Outcast ID/IFF.
