It's been a long time. Last I heard you wandered off to join the Leeds Resistance, and I hope to God you made it out alive. If you did, then you have my sincerest sympathy for what happened there. However, with the sundering of Leeds now over, I find myself once more in need of a man with your particular talents, if you are interested of course.
When you left our service, I told you there would always be a place for you here. If you are in need of employment, the Service could use you.
If not, then I wish you all the luck in the world.
Kind Regards:
V. Steiner
Director of the Secret Intelligence Service
Thanks for making contact sir, I did make it out alive. I wish I could say the same for a lot of Resistance personnel that got cut off in the final days of the battle. We lost a lot of good people down there to be sure. But their sacrifice will never be forgotten!
I suffered a major comms breakdown and must admit that, as the Gallic Royal Navy was bearing down on New London, the organization seems to have fallen into disarray for some time. It was then that I withdrew to the field at my own discretion and prioritized my efforts around defending Leeds, and keeping up pressure on enemy supply lines leading to the front. Although the system was re-captured and the Gallic threat withdrew, I had no further contact with the SIS, as I wasn't sure there was anyone left who'd survived the sieges. I eventually learned Director Weber was relieved. After the dust settled, I didn't know whether anyone was alive who'd even known I was a part of SIS. Not fully knowing my standing, I've mostly remained outside Bretonian space since then.
I'm glad to see things seem to have come back together under a new director. I've kept up my own efforts against the Royalists' Enclave as best I could, but with limited success. I have been able to keep up good observations of things in the Taus, and north of Bretonia, where I've been hiding, maintaining a front as a junker. Until recently, it hasn't been much of a front.
Assuming I can keep my involvement secret, I'm willing to come back and return to service. I have some intel on the Enclave you could probably use, and am still good with cargo interdiction and stealth scouting. I'm prepared to fully debrief as soon as convenient on your part.
Your service will remain a secret and only be known to a select few. If you require a deeper cover within the Junkers, I might be able to get that done for you. Otherwise, you may continue operating as you see fit within the Tau regions, consider it a standing assignment until, or unless, you request another, your choice.
Your status has been set back to active and on assignment and your security clearance has been fully restored. If you decide to fly the SIS colours, you may do so, however given the nature of what you have been doing, I understand if you would rather avoid putting a target on your back.
Welcome back to the Service, Agent Hudson.

Everything seems in order, and thanks again for making contact. I think, if anyone asks, I'll say I'm just a freelancer or junker where I can, and will use a fake name for most flagged missions. I think it might be useful to keep anyone who knows me thinking I'm still just dwelling in the Taus on my own accord, for as long as I can at least. Otherwise, I'm at your service sir.
I figure with what's been going on in Gallia, I will continue observations and possibly attack Enclave (and pro-Enclave) shipping within their territory if more chances arise. Now that my access has been restored, I'll transmit a report back to HQ to update on my status, and with intel you may find useful. In the meantime I won't be too far if you need me.
