Greetings, Gateway,
I do not believe I have had the chance to officially meet your company. I am Dr. John Henry Holliday, founder of Med Force Enterprises. Obviously we specialize in medicine, training and pharmaceutical research. We have facilities in Omicron Theta and the Baffin systems. It is our hospital in Baffin that I wish to discuss with you today.
I recently contacted one of your pilots in space to request assistance with shipping a large sum of hull segments and I was very please with the result. She did it quickly and was very professional. Kyoko Matsuda, pilot of the Gateway|-GSV-Panama, was of great help. So impressed am I that I wish to see about more contracts. I am enclosing a transcript of our conversation here.
The base in Baffin is very isolated, being above and slightly behind Planet Eris. I found this old base to be ideal for some of my worst medical cases and some of my most secret work and wish to keep expanding it. To do so, I need a shipping company that I can call upon. Miss Matsuda made a good impression for Gateway today.
That said, I have the following contract that I wish to ask about, a Core Upgrade in which the following items will be needed:
• 40,000 Hull Segments
• 100,000 Industrial Hardware
• 40,000 Robotic Hardware
• 40,000 Reinforced Alloy
• 40,000 High Performance Alloy
• 40,000 Optronic Arrays
• 40,000 Heat Sinks
• 20,000 Plasfoam Conduits
• 20,000 Nanomembrane Filters
I will work on this a bit myself to help out but so that I can continue my work in the surgical ward and the lab, most of it will be done by your people.
As to payment, I have no idea as to salary of your pilots and shipping costs so that is negotiable. I just know that base materials do not make much per trip. You would be providing me with much relief and a great service.
So let me know if this is possible. I look forward to your reply.
Most sincerely,
Dr. John Henry Holliday

we are pleased to hear about your good experiences, as we are interested in contracts that don't involve high risk or shady business, and your humanitarian work is something worth supporting. I have therefore calculated commodity prices that would make supplying your base a moderately profitable route. You are right when saying that the commodity price is small compared to the value of the time invested in shipping them.
Due to the isolated position of the base, far from bases that offer a profitable trade towards the source of the of the commodities you need, the profit margin was set to be 10000 credits per second per 5k cargo for all commodities (20k for 2 way without return trade). This leads to the following commodity prices and total cost:
Since some of it has already been shipped and you said you want to continue shipping commodities yourself while we do, the easiest would be that you transfer the total cost of 915.6 million credits to the bank of your base, and set the commodity prices to those listed in the column titled "POBprice".
Your base will thereby pay every transport that brings goods fairly without need for further paperwork, what ever you bring yourself will be payed into your own pocket, and the cost of whatever was already shipped will remain in the bank of your base.

Miss Chandrasena,
I apologize for my delayed response. I wanted to go over it with my staff. 915 million is a lot for us when you consider that we are a non-profit group but this expansion will be worth the investment. As I said before, we are working on shipping where we can ourselves so in the end, it will not be such a financial hit for us. I will advise my load master at the base immediately of the changes. I only ask for your patience as he is quite new at the job.
So we have a deal. Perhaps when it is over we can discuss further business over a drink. I look forward to working with you.
Thank you,
Dr. John Henry Holliday

Miss Chandrasena,
The Nanomembrane filters, reinforced alloy and hull segment part of the order are complete. The loadmaster has adjusted the price on those items as they are now full. I have also updated the list of what is still needed.
I'm happy to inform you that we finished delivering all the goods for the expansion. Unfortunately, there was some delay because Auxesians have been attacking our transports anywhere they can, including Baffin, as you can see:
They seem to hope that ruthless terrorism will convince Bretonia to grant them ownership of Inverness, or something.
Anyway, I believe [MFE]Pasteur may have contacted you regarding future collaboration and possible donations to your humanitarian work by Gateway. Maybe we can discuss this face to face when you have time.

Miss Chandrasena,
I want to thank you and your organization for your hard work on this contract. Without you it would not have been possible. In the future I hope that I can once again reach out to you. Being the distant location of the base, feel free to relax a bit at the cafe for some food and drink. Perhaps I can join you if I am not busy in surgery or something. Perhaps then we can discuss possible donations and such then?
As to the Auxesians, I am puzzled. I reached out to them some time ago and received a positive response. Admittedly, my knowledge of them is limited. Perhaps that is why I have attempted to reach them. I do hope no one was hurt or killed in those attacks. The Bretonian Crown has a way of angering people so if they are using terrorist methods to get their attention, I guess it makes sense as to why even if I do not agree with such methods. I can try reaching out to them again and hope for a better response.
Miss Chandrasena, I do hope to chat with you again in the near future and discuss future dealings.
