You were right earlier today in Kepler, the Order is not usually seen in the open unless they intend to be seen. Unfortunately, there were people present that would have taken issue with what I wanted to discuss. Nomad sightings are on the rise in the independent worlds, I fear that Liberty may be victimized again as a result. The LSF has a very aggressive, yet foul methodology when it comes to dealing with the Alien threat. Naturally, we cannot rely on the authorities to inform us of anything strange or unusual. If not for the reason that most of them don't believe the nomads exist, then more so for the reason that they would try to "use" the situation to their advantage.
The Alien sightings aren't just on the rise in terms of quantity, a new type of Alien that not I nor several others in the Order have ever seen before has apparently begun making more frequent appearances in the Independent worlds. Most Aliens are driven into a state of rage and initiate aggression against people, this type is much more cunning than the others. Every source that has seen one of these before has told me that it's extremely dangerous.
We don't talk much, I personally am getting used to now being as much a negotiator as a recon pilot. There are other questions to be asked and if necessary - proof we can show you. But first I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter.
I don't dispute your claims because I consider them fact, so the offer of proof is appreciated but unnecessary, send it along purely for posterity sake.
My experience in this field is limited, I've shot a few suspicious people down and put particle bolts through the stray aliens I've come across, but they were your usual deal. Nothing special about any of it, probably trying to prod for weakness and serve as recon flights just like you.
If there's something new lurking around the Independent Worlds we're keenly interested in, then I consider this cause for action. Of course this then leads back to the obvious, the fact you contacted me for a reason and clearly have something in mind.
It's good to see we're on the same page, saves me the effort of drawing in your help if needed. That being said, we will do our best to handle this situation with as little manpower as possible from the Xeno Alliance. You have your own battles to fight, putting more lives at risk for this is something I can safely say the Admiral nor the Order would want. That being said however if you insist on lending support - we aren't completely in a position to deny it.
Here's why.
The order has eyes everywhere and in a manner of speaking - hands everywhere. It is possible for us to launch precision strikes on a few days' notice. Something like this, however, requires much more attention and much more care.
It's critical we evaluate our threat completely before making a move that would otherwise put a lot more lives at risk. Evaluations can take time, time means we need more places to fit more people.
The Order understands you aren't very fond of outsiders coming into Liberty, I personally have an even lesser understanding but that being said - the question still remains.
Would you be willing to let limited Order assets stage from bases such as Milford and Nome? Our presence will not interfere with your normal operations in the Liberty theatre, and having an extra place for our pilots to recharge would be very helpful.
Finally, for your convenience. The Order advises caution in the presence of such Aliens, we would also ask that any encounters be routed to the Order so that we may better be prepared to deal with this threat.
- BODY STRUCTURE: Subject has very little mass, it creates a small nebula when in transit from one area to another.
- SPEECH: Unlike other Aliens, this one is capable of completely formal speech. It can communicate as an ordinary person would directly, or through an infected host.
-ATTITUDE: Subject did not initiate aggression while asset was on scene, attitude towards Order or other non-infected personnel remains unknown.
There's already a standing agreement allowing the Order to make use of Xeno installations as rest stops and resupply points while operating in the area. You may freely make use of Ouray, Nome, Milford, Leyte and our safehouse on Planet Pittsburgh.
The Order might operate from beyond the borders of this House, but it seems to have always had Liberty's best interests in mind. And if nothing else, we still respect your cause for the fact that it tore the Donau apart in orbit of Manhattan.
Still adjusting to this aspect of my job, pardon my ignorance of our prior arrangement. Gracias, in any case.
One more thing, those people, "Auxesia" as they call themselves now. Is there any friction there that we should be aware of? They are considered enemies of the Order and will attack us if they see us.
Between you and them, sure. Between us and them, no. I'd appreciate not being dragged into that whole mess, but all the same if they start encroaching on our territory to hunt you without provocation then let me know.
That's the kind of thing that would cause friction.
