Finishing off the last goblet of the drink, she placed the glass down, boredly leaning her cheek against her palm against the table top. Unbothered by his rhetoric, she drunkenly dodged the idea of thinking about it.
"Maybe there's nothing there. Maybe it's just a gate to another place. Maybe there'll be a giant creature that will come out and suck your brains out. " She fluttered her fingers, emphasizing on the brain sucking.
It was clear at that point she knew that he wasn't going to give up, no matter how much she would try to convince him. If logic wouldn't work, maybe tormenting would. And it surely did humor her befuddled mind, sneering at the mockery she was battering him verbally with. Dribbling with sarcasm, she pressed on with the teasing,
"Pffschh... Yeaa-aah... They're gonna chase you down and put tentacles into your head holes, and turn you into a walking zombie. "
She chuffed once more, "Me? What - Fly? Of course not. You can go if you want, but I'm going to stay the night to uh --- clear up and thi -- *ahem* Think a little.
Mmm... Yeah, this was a little too strong for me. "
Chuckling to herself for a brief moment, she let out a quiet 'whoops' to herself, sliding her palm off of her cheek, letting it flop down to the table surface. An exhale was released, calming down for the minute as realisation came flooding to mind.
"I-... suppose I'm never going to convince you to stop, am I? "
