Boucher,

In line with what has been mentioned in the last transmission, the Goverment of Bretonia has been contacted to discuss upon your matter. I shall detail the important points made by them, the majority of which are aimed at supporting the idea you have proposed.

I will also present another matter, which will be of most use to your organization, following talks with the rest of the Admiralty.

The changes to the embargo and an agreement to ensure closer cooperation are as follows:

• All vessels from Sirius which carry propaganda, or materials required for the operation set forth, will be allowed to pass if:
- they are escorted by BAF, BIS, BPA ships within the Kingdom of Bretonia and the Tau systems
- they are escorted by Maquis ships within the Tau and Gallic systems
• All future Maquis fleet movements within systems belonging, claimed or bordering Bretonia are transmitted over a secure channel
• The Armed Forces will provide, in return, information about the state of the embargo and fleet movements in the Tau-31 and Edinburgh systems
• Maquis Command will inform the Armed Forces regularly on the progress of the operation within Lorraine until its completion

This new agreement is aimed at bringing the Armed Forces into a closer state of cooperation with the Front de Libération, and at large, the Maquis. However, there is one more matter which I would like to make clear. The agreement must be kept a secret to everyone not part of either the Bretonian law enforcement or the Maquis, an exception to this being the members of the Lorraine operation for the time being. I trust that you can keep this word and ensure a swift and efficient cooperation in the future.

If you agree to the terms we have listed or if you wish to add others, or to change them, let us know as soon as possible in a transmission.

Your conditions are deemed acceptable.

We will inform you when the operation takes place. There is a particular worry especially the Outcasts might take advantage of the increased traffic in the Tau regions and chaos in Lorraine, they have been seen amassing their forces in Tau-37 and the traders will require protection from them be it from our side of yours.

As to the rest of the terms, any organized large scale Front operatons in Bretonian and bordering systems will be consulted with your side. Due to the nature of the Gallic underground movement however the Front cannot control the movements of independent Maquisards on a small scale. Although our largely Ex-Council Military Arm with many people your colleagues might familiar has an organized structure and what you would call a "conventional" chain of command, common Maquisards largely act on their own will within their cells. For this reason your confidentiality clause is also in The Front's best interest.

And one more thing - this comes as no surprise to us but maybe you would like some proof the Gallic Navy openly tolerates the proponents of the regime of Charles' in their midst. The Gallic Union is a self-serving military regime. Glory, conquest and military laurels are what they value the most, and tolerate those they deem as "accomplished" even if they stand for the old ways, arguably against the Union's official ideology. The CIC of the vessel has even implied the king we have maimed is somehow still alive.

Make no mistake. Although now it may seem The Union is toothless and cannot harm Sirius directly, the clock is ticking, they are heavily rebuilding and gearing the economy and society towards the strenghtening of it's Military and sooner or later, invasion capability.

Your lenience here and our efforts in Lorraine will be only the first step in turning the tides against the oppressive machine of the Union. We will make all attempts to slow them down but to outright stop them and free the people of Gallia right now seems like a distant dream of future generations should we be alone for the task.
