Auto-Updater and Engine Trails

Whenever I use the auto-updater, and it updates, my engine trails go away. How do I fix this?

I tried re-activating .85 beta 4, but as soon as I update, my engine trail option is turned off. Is there a way to edit a file to fix this? Also, I'd prefer spinning planets on.

Hmmm, I thought the auto updater updated the mod files in FLMM... well you can restore backups, install the mod update into FLMM manually and re-activate, that will work.
