There is an odd research facillity way off the beaten path in Bremen, it would be a cool base for a faction, but good. Rhienland needs more activity, isnt there already a Rhienland intellegence (CIA type of thing) ID?
The only reason Rheinland operates in its totalitarian military structure is because the RM chose to promote and develop the Gottkanzler that way. Which subsequently has placed RM as the only logical and practical implementation of federal and military power now.
You essentially locked out alternatives, and then take the step forward of discouraging them and encouraging them to your banner. This doesn't exactly foster the sense of freedom and creativity that we all seem to cherish.
Perhaps. Though, to be honest, I did not promote that form of Rheinland. It sort of developed out of my control...
All I'm saying is that, generally speaking, it is better to have one unified faction than numerous separated ones. This attempt is definitely eons ahead of some that are in Rheinland right now, so I'm not saying not to do this. I'm saying that joining the RM is better, in my opinion. A lot of people disagree with that, though.

I am inclined to agree. With strong factions, if there's a problem, there is someone to go to.
Though if there is a distinction of some sort, perhaps this unit could be, well, a particular unit IN the RM (much like the relationship between the BAF and the QCP)?
Aye how about creating a wing of the RM that is based out of Westfallen and focuses on the fighting in the Borderworlds there. That's what I'd like to see, that's what I think would attract players. I don't even need a leading role in it, but would you be willing to make this happen Virus?
If a wing of the Westfallen [RM] is not possible I'm definitely going to move forward with this faction and shape it in a way more fitting to the intelligenz faction.

I'm inclined to agree with Virus... Yes, Turkish, Virus would be a creative tyrant if the material involved here was something original, but there is nothing here that is not already done by pre-existing factions.
I would also like to point out, that in your screenshot, you claim Texas is a borderworld. Not true. It's very much part of Liberty.
My verdict? Join the RM. The whole rank structure really is not as emphasized as you'd think it is. It is within the faction's RP to make it seem very rigid and austere, but if you ask some of the leading people in the RM, you'll find that most of the time, it's very relaxed and very focused on having fun.
In combat, you may find yourself taking orders, but those giving orders are usually the ones with the most combat experience, and they know what they're doing. During other times, it will usually be a polite request, something that you would be doing in your "rankless" faction too.

Again this CIA crap and now in the very german Rheinland!
Now see how dumb these comparisons are, elgatodiablo?
Sorry, back to topic:
RM got already its spy wing and i think the whole intelligence RP should be under the control of the official factions.
elgatodiablo got it, join the RM and let's organize some 'spy' RP.

And the difference between joining the RM as a specific wing and joining the RM is... ? Non-existent. You could just base your character from the Westfalen. Now that the war is underway, there is nothing stopping RM from fighting in the Hudson, Bering, Bremen, New Hampshire, Hamburg, or even--on occasion--Texas. You're trying to fill a role that the RM already attempts to do.
Intelligenz is not a proper translation, as I found out a while ago. Means "brainpower" or something more like that rather than anything to do with spies or secrets.
I already suggested some spy wing on the RM forums.
Due my job and family i got limited time either way i would worked out a solid faction proposal.
The problems i found so far are that some hotshot just jump upon your ID ignoring your camouflaged RP.
And you need to do a LOT of work to grab the ID and to become neutral to the Liberty navy.
Beside a solid RP of course. You cannot roam around and blow up smugglers or something if you intent to really spy.
