To whomever receives this,
Long time no see, eh?
I'm not usually one to ask for help unless absolutely necessary, but it would appear I've got myself between an asteroid and a hard place. I was on my way to Cairo Station to refuel, but was ambushed by a Nomad patrol. I fought them off, but my ship has seen better days. I've got coolant leaks and microfractures all over the hull. Power systems are failing and I frankly have no damn clue where the hell I am in this cloud. By my estimation, life support will last for the next 12 hours, then that's it.

Greetings mister Evans,
We have received your message, and a search and rescue operation has been launched from Cairo. It will arrive in Omicron Minor shortly to assist you in getting to safety. Try and conserve your oxygen intake untill we get there, and disable as many systems as you can to minimize your power usage, so your vessel will ping on our scanners for as long as possible.
This Galaxy is vast; its wonders and beauty are almost unfathomable. But the galaxy also hides dark secrets, some of which have lain dormant since the beginning of time itself. There is a danger in secrets, both in seeking and in knowing. Some things are meant to be hidden from view. Some mysteries defy understanding, and sometimes even the things we think we know are untrue. Some secrets should remain untouched.

Colonel,
I'm transferring what remaining power I have from all major systems to shields and life support. I don't know how much longer my old Defender will hold out, but if I know anything, the Order is damn good at finding people. I'll see you soon.
I have to admit I was quite surprised when the report regarding your current status reached my desk.
You'll be pleased to hear that the nanny ship P'tah has reached the system and should be tracking down your location as we speak.
I'll give word to the Engineers they should get ready to patch up your ship once you arrive.
Try not to use too much oxygen alright? Controlled breathing is key.
The P'tah got here in the nick of time. I was getting worried.
The boys over in medical have given me the all clear to return to what's left of my ship. From what I can see, the engines are more or less destroyed. It's a damn miracle they missed the primary reactor; that could have gone poorly for me. The hull should be an easy enough fix and the weapons will need replaced as well.
Don't suppose you've got some spare parts sitting around from those Defenders I threw your way a couple years ago?
As you probably know we have a decent supply of Liberty parts, however most of them are fairly old, dating back from the days where Liberty and Order tech was a lot more similar.
That said, I'm fairly sure we can have some Order engines mounted on your ship, assuming you don't mind flying around with Order blue behind you.
Bare minimum it will allow you to fly through the Omicrons freely again.

Admiral,
I'm sure I can make any parts you can spare work. I spent my fair share of time in the hangars on West Point back in my academy days, coupled with working on the shuttle I had back on the farm. As for a new engine designed for your ships, I do think we can make that work as well, with some modifications. If not, I'll need a new ship altogether. Brand new Defenders tend to be a bit scarce around here, so I truly hope we can get this one in good enough shape I can limp it back to Liberty for a full repair. That is, unless you have the facilities to fabricate parts. I should have the designs for most of the components specific to this model. Perks of knowing the right people, eh?
The Engineers on Cairo station are ready to get started on your ship, I'm sure they'll be more than glad to let you tinker along with them, as well as for any input you might have regarding the construction of maintenance parts.
....And Grey, please don't try to attach a cruiser engine to that ship of yours.

Admiral,
For an organization widely regarded as terrorists, my friend, you do have some of the finest engineers I've had the pleasure of working with. It took all night, but we got my ship back in flying shape. Unfortunately, they were not able to strap a cruiser engine to it this time around, but there is always the next time.
I am forever in your debt, friend. Should you ever require assistance, I will do everything in my power to provide what aid I can.
