It has came to my attention that someone has mistakenly forwarded one of my vocal messages intended for Lieutenant Remington during our stay at Kansas three days ago to a Freelancer that was in the vicinity. As the chief communications officer, you are held responsible for the incident.
For giving away the Akhetaten's position and presence in the system during a covert operation, you will be placed on close watch and all of your actions will be recorded. Any further actions that may compromise the Akhetaten's integrity and the clandestine status of any of our operations will lead to a dishonorable stripping of your rank within the Akhetaten. Further consequences may include demotion.
I hope I've made myself clear, Lieutenant Commander.
I'm forwarding this message to your terminal to inform you of the new arrivals assigned from Command aboard ship to fill the shift rotations onboard. Lieutenant Adam Coburn is transferring from the Miasma as a gunnery officer, and Lieutenant Commander Meredith Nishimura, transferring from the Wisconsin, as communications officer. Both individuals were highly recommended by their respective commanding officers when I inquired about them. If you have further questions regarding our new crew members, let me know.
As long as Nishimura and Coburn are trustworthy individuals, which I assume they must be, there are no questions to be asked about them. Considering you took the responsibility of introducing them to the Akhetaten, I appoint you in charge of them. I shall arrange that the communications officer and gunnery officer be assigned the same shifts as you, naturally.
Lieutenant Commander, Lieutenant,
Welcome to the crew. Debriefing of your duties will be at 0600 hours, do not miss it.
