Service Historique- History of Service
The Gevaudan was commissioned over a decade prior to eruption of the Gallic Invasion of Sirius as a response to increased need of the Royal Navy to interfere in domestic affairs of belligerents pacification in conjunction with Royal Police contingent. Designed as a light carrier constructed with sacrificing cargo bay space for strike craft and superiority fighters hangars, it have seen subsequent deployment to Burgundy, mostly seeing action against local marginal elements, namely The Council, Maquis, occasionally Brigands.
However, it’s purpose have also determined it’s distancing from any and all frontlines for almost the entirety of service time - until the Kusari invasion force came to Burgundy and the 27th Regiment made a hasty move to reinforce the Epinal battlegroup to the best of their ability and fight off a defensive retreat to eventually make it’s way into Languedoc, accompanying Rocroi and playing a role in the forces further thwarting the Kusari onslaught.

R.N.S. Gevaudan, Roussillon
Following the "Reunification" of Gallia, the Gevaudan and survived crew that came to conclusion to join the Royalist forces had to flee from the Gallic worlds to prevent ship's capture by traitors of the Union Navy with further "justice" carried upon them. Lacking maintain in a drydock developed specifically for needs of the naval ships led to ship's system slowly decaying and being reconfigured to prevent critical failure.
Although utilisation of engineering platforms based on Lucullus-class Liner provides enough to keep ship at service, it is not enough to restore all of it systems and return it to the battlefield. Therefore, for the moment of being the Gevaudan is used as mobile command centre and light carrier of the 27th Royal Regiment, excluding its combat capacity due to combat-related systems barely working at 10% of their supposed parameters.
