Press Release For immediate release: 11th April 830
Statement on operations in Dublin
In line with the travel warning advisory released several days prior by the Foreign Office of the Kingdom of Bretonia, the Ministry of Defence wishes to reassure foreign partners that strict measures are being put in place to ensure the safety of any passing ships in the Dublin system. We hold utmost interest in strengthening the various defences around the Dublin system in such a manner that commerce traffic does not come under threat at any point, or, should a large-scale raid be conducted by organizations outside the reach of law, guarantee a response within the hour.
To deter Molly and Corsair raiders from establishing forward operating outposts within the asteroid fields, the Ministry of Defence is announcing the start of an anti-terror operation to secure the southern reaches of the Dublin system as well as the vicinity of Graves station. Units of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom, acting in close cooperation with those of the Police Authority, will conduct training drills, raids, as well as operate the construction of several lines of defensive emplacements that will alert passing transport ships of incoming hostile vessels in the regions frequented by convoys.
A future press release will communicate further details within the coming days.
