Officers,
Greetings to you. It has come to our attention that a jump hole, albeit in a "unstable" condition, which means only small crafts can access it, has been detected near the Gallic National Intelligence de facto headquarters.
The jump hole in question is in Burgundy, near Macon Base. It is a direct connection to the hostile partial remnants' homeworld system known as the Maltese and are one of the main threats to Gallia and its population. While our population has been preserved in virtually all aspects of their poison, we must continue to contain this threat.
A single Dromedary-class Transport should not pass through.
By this message, I ask of you to consider this unstable connection, and complement Macon Base with additional forces in defense of potential blockade-runners.
The presence of the "Fortress" by itself should be enough of a deterrent for said blockade-runners, but it can also be a future advantage for hit squadrons. For now, this is all theory. All I ask of you, fellow Flag Officers, Officers, and auxiliaries, is to defend Gallia from this newest hot spot.
