She checked her wristwatch and saw that it was 7:00 am. She had to hurry, she had an important meeting to attend at The Ring to Kurt Reber, the Generaldirector of Daumann Heavy Construction, the largest and most influential corporation in Rheinland.

She grabbed her coat and helmet, and headed to the hangar bay, where her personal ship, the Wolf's Fang, was waiting for her. It was a sleek and powerful fighter, equipped with the latest weapons and systems. She had customized it to suit her style and preferences. She was proud of her ship, it was her loyal companion and partner in her many missions and adventures. She climbed into the cockpit, and started the engine. She was greeted by the voice of her onboard computer, which she had named Fenrir**

: - Good morning, Direktor Wolf. Ready for departure? -

: - Yes, Fenrir. Set course for The Ring. We have a meeting to attend. -

: - Affirmative, Direktor Wolf. Course set. Estimated time of arrival: 15 minutes -

**As Freyja Wolf nodded and activated the thrusters, the Wolf's Fang lifted off from the hangar bay, and she prepared to set a course for The Ring. Joining the Trade Lane, the network of jump gates that connected the planets and stations in the system, she noticed several other ships on the route, including traders, miners, and various military and police patrols. Among them, she could see the KPR|Wolfgeist and the Rheinland Military Bootsmann Beist, providing escort for her journey.

With her trusted escorts by her side, she remained focused on her destination, contemplating what awaited her at The Ring. The journey through the Trade Lane proceeded smoothly, guided by the lights of the jump gates that led her closer to her destination.

As Freyja Wolf approached The Ring, she couldn't help but reflect on the rumors and stories she had heard about this massive orbital structure. It housed the most advanced and classified research and development facilities within the Rheinland military-industrial complex. Beyond that, it served as a secretive enclave for High Command meetings and conferences, far removed from the prying eyes and ears of the public and the media. The Ring was renowned as the source of many hidden secrets and enigmatic mysteries, some of which had ominous undertones.

Freyja's curiosity and apprehension continued to intertwine as she drew nearer to The Ring. She had traversed parts of the complex before, familiar with its hangars, lunchrooms, and certain offices. However, today marked a new chapter in her journey, as she approached the main conference room, reserved for high-level meetings and deliberations. The sense of anticipation and the unknown weighed on her mind as she contemplated what awaited her within The Ring's inner sanctum.

Freyja Wolf exited the Trade Lane and beheld The Ring before her. The colossal, ring-shaped station loomed with several modules and docks attached to its imposing structure. It had a distinct, metallic, and futuristic appearance, adorned with an array of lights and antennas. The sight of it was akin to witnessing a colossal technological marvel and an impregnable fortress combined.

In the presence of this awe-inspiring sight, Freyja couldn't help but feel a surge of profound awe and deep respect, an emotion that had not waned even though she had seen it before. The grandeur of The Ring's design and purpose never failed to command her admiration.

She contacted the station's control tower, and requested permission to dock.**

: - This is Polizei Direktor Freyja Wolf, Flight ID number 7654-3210, requesting permission to dock with my escort pilots at The Ring. I have a meeting with CEO Reber at 8:00 am. -

**The control tower responded, with a formal and respectful tone.**

: - Permission granted, Direktor Wolf. Welcome to The Ring. Please proceed to Dock 12. -

: - Polizei Direktor Wolf, we are here to escort you to the conference room. Please follow us. -

**Freyja nodded, and followed the guards alongside with her own escorts. They led her through a series of corridors and elevators, until they reached the conference room.**

The room was impressive, to say the least. It was circular, with a large yellow table in the center, surrounded by several chairs. The room had several large windows that looked out into the vastness of space inside the corridor, The walls were curved and had several screens and control panels on them, displaying various data and images. The room was lit by several large circular lights on the ceiling, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Freyja took a seat at the table, feeling slightly out of place.

Freyja felt a surge of nervousness as she realized that she was in the presence with one of the most powerful and influential man in the Rheinland Society.
She decided to remain calm and professional, and wait for CEO to Appear.
