Type: Balance/NPC issue
Bug: NPCs do not deal shield damage to each other, any damage between them is dealt directly to the hull

Reproduction Steps:
  • Watch NPCs fight - in my case, I watched them fight in Leeds (the molly transport that always spawns) and in California (LPI vs Rogues)
  • Observe their shield, shields do not go down at all.
  • NPC ship blows up when hull is gone, with their shields still fully operational.

I want to get off Mr. Igiss' wild ride.

Visual glitch. Their shields are already down, shoot them with so much as a mining array and it'll instantly be gone. Not sure what causes the glitch, but since it's purely player-side visual I never worried about it. Been around for years.

I'll do something about my superiority complex when I cease to be superior.

"Whatever happened to catchin' a good old-fashioned passionate ass-whoopin and gettin' your shoes, coat, and your hat tooken?"
