[]TR[]SVW-Unchar_1 has been sanctioned for:
Rules Broken Wrote:1.5 - Disconnecting from the server during a player interaction in space or in a jump hole/jump gate is not allowed. If you disconnect while in-game, post here as soon as possible.
Consequences:
Disconnecting to save your precious cargo right as a hostile ship appears near you might seem like a good idea, but it really isn't. In fact, it is against the server rules. You'll find your bank 100,000,000 credits lighter.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
I've never done this since I joined this community in 2016.
Not even now and every time I needed to disconnect in space I didn't have anyone on my radar. *I beg for the evidence.
On the other hand, even if I was guilty, 100,000,000 fine is actually very experent!! No, a robbery without an armed hand. This takes years to earn even when playing 24 hours a day, which I did out of love for this community when the average hour/day was 15 players.
The evidence that was sent to me showed me that this player was cloaked, which for me is a crime, because for me there was no one around. You guys can verify that my scanner would have detected it and I wouldn't be disconnected if there was someone on the radar.
But let's talk about the value. What is it? Is it the same weight and measure for everyone equally in the community? Is there not a respecter of persons? How about a fair and equal value for everyone in the community? Not everyone will be able to afford it. Soon they would be excluded from the community. It would be good for us to think about it, since there is a big revamp going on with this new patch. I only suggest, in view of what has been applied to me.

Sanction credit amounts have to scale a little bit with a player's wealth. A player with billions of credits isn't going to be bothered by a 5 million credit fine. Other players would have their entire bank emptied by a fine of that amount. The point of fines is for people to understand they made a mistake, so they've got to hurt.
However, in our eagerness to process things quickly we didn't really take the time to thoroughly review the evidence. F1ing in space with other players around while hauling (valuable) cargo is something that players should avoid, precisely because a player may be about to interact with you, in this case while cloaked. Please try and dock up in the future to avoid situations like these, unless you're confident no players are around or something comes up that forces you to disconnect in a hurry.
Praise be to my God, who has given me sympathy for all of you in all this time of dedication in the community: it was not in vain. I see now that the whole team is to be congratulated and that even at the top from Developers, admins, moderators, Staffs there is really a desire for unity, even when sanctioning someone. I learned this from St.Denis and I see it in you. I understand what you said and I fully agree that people should understand that they should respect the laws of our community, although I insist that we should have equal measures for everyone. The fact that it is sanctioned is already a shame, at least for me. I never do anything wrong intentionally, as I explained why in this case. I appreciate your good wisdom, dear developer. Thank you for giving me back the values, but much more for showing yourself to me as someone with whom you can dialogue without fear of being mistreated out of ignorance. You were very wise. Congratulations on the good character you have shown yourself to be in this matter with me.
