Guten Tag Herr Gorman.
Recently, a strike group of LSF craft have entered Rheinland space. They were on what they called a "fact-finding mission" - a thinly-veiled excuse to cause havoc in Rheinland. Upon sighting a BDM gunship in Hamburg orbit, they began an unlawful interrogation of its kapitan. When the conversation didn't go their way, the strike team's leader ordered the ships to engage. By this point some of my forces have responded to the distress call from the scene, and a battle ensued. The BDM gunship was disabled, at which point the LSF team retreated back to Bering, abandoning one of their own to be shot down.
Herr Gorman, I believe I need not elaborate on the PROVOCATION such an event implies. The Libertonians think themselves above the law and have decided to take matters outside of the regular diplomatic channels. I will not stand for this, mein Herr. I expect a substantial response about this incident from the highest authority of Rheinland. Here is my proposal:
Reparations for the repair of the disabled vessel in the sum of 5 million SC from the LSF
A formal apology from the Libertonians about the conduct of their intelligence service
A show of force in Bering via the conductance of joint RM & BDM exercises
If you require a meeting to discuss my.. requests, or the details of the incident, I, Frau Viper, and Vizeadmiral Kunrad are at your disposal.
Hochachtungsvoll,
Alfred Henze
