Orsini,
I understand what you want to do - to turn Corse into a legitimate governing body, and Provence into a leggitimu system. To not only make our allies feel safe but to actually assure they are safe without taking the opportunities against them when their backs are turned. To act as the houses do, with legitimate police and diplomacy that doesn't rely on veiled intimidation, that punishes their own if they slight the outsiders. I think this is a noble pursuit and I know many families agree with you.
Alas, it's hard to teach an old dog new trucchj - I am a Corsican first and a killer second, I live by our principles of roses and daggers. If someone external trusts me and their back is turned and Corse can gain from it, I act. I didn't take the ore from the miners, you will soon find out who did, but if I were in your shoes, I would stand behind them, stand behind Corsicans who take opportunities when they see them, we are one family after all, and our ways of sticking together against outsiders have helped us flourish for centuries.
I now belong to the Sindacatu Corse(The Corsican Syndicate), you can see us around with the Corse- flag as we take on the traditional role of Roses and Daggers. The Splusione Squadron I created and lead will be moving across to the Syndicate, as we will wreak havoc on the Outcasts while looking for new Nox distribution opportunities and building relations with their enemies while posing as run-off-the-mill mercenaries at all ends of Sirius. Consider the other ships I have acquired as my parting gift - that Sirian Bustard I negotiated for us in the Omicrons being the most prized former possession that I am now giving you.
Good luck with your project, we will try to stand out of your way while we apply our traditional Corsican methods.
Nobody is present in the Spulsione Squadron. It still exists within the Unione Corse as our Squadron for Sirian affairs.
This is simply the swansong of someone who was ripped from his purpose in life. And just like ang swansong, it will end, not with a bang but with a whimper. I am saddened to see you cling to your old colors which does not belong to you anymore.
Just like the Southern Ancient America who were clinging to their old Colors back hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Before we settled Sirius, before the Ancient Earth was entirely settled. But now you simply are alone.
You could have accepted your skmple demotion. You could have been better. You should have been better. I saw great things in you. It seems you decided to go AWOL.
The Unione Corse remains the Unione Corse. A syndicate of families. But we also have the duty of taking care of Provence which was given to us in the form of police duties and others.
We founded the Spulsione Squadron together. I personally made you a Capitaine until a grave mistake.
I have nothing else to say that. I am disappointed in my pupil who did not accept his honorable discharge, and turned it into a dishonorable discharge.
I am disappointed in you, my student, my former brother as well. Of the Unione Corse. Please, cling as hard as you can to your old colors, as you will never get to wear them again in any official capacity within the families.
There will be no further communication between us here in this channel.

Orsini,
I mean this: in the Sindacatu Corse, Corse comes first. We would never do what you did:
Quote:Despite years of loyal service, Capitaine, then demoted to Acolyte, has been excommunicated from the Unione Corse, your behavior lately has been questionable, and a new issue which, despite you denying your involvement, of stealing silver ore from a mining operation from IMG, while the Unione Corse started carrying out a diplomatic mission for the population of Provence; you have decided to go A.W.O.L., instead of simply accepting the demotion, like any made man. Disappointing and cowardly behavior, gets rewarded, proportionally.
However, you are hereby excommunicated from the Unione Corse.
By now you have probably realized that you wrongly accused me, it wasn't me nor my ship who pulled that cunning move. Paranoia is one thing, but going after your own, without any evidence, calling them liars after years of service, all in the name of overzealously trying to make the Unione Corse what it is not - a House of its own in the eyes of Sirians - is why we have to part ways.
To the hero who did take the opportunity: The Sindacatu Corse will take you in if Principal Orsini will treat you the same way he treated me, for a move that you have successfully pulled.
