A good side kick can produce a lot of added depth and laughter to a game, so list your favorites! Couple come to my mind instantly.
Morte - a flying skull accompanying the Nameless One in RPG game Torment. An excellent character. It's been years since I played the game and the specifics have been forgotten, but I still remember Morte being top A class character.
Quote:Morte, a cynical floating skull originally from the Pillar of Skulls in Baator,[17] is introduced at the game's very beginning. Morte loyally follows The Nameless One, partly out of guilt for having caused the deaths of some of his previous incarnations.
Vortigaunt - In Half-life EP 2 that accompanies Dr Freeman to get the secret excrement. One of the best jokes and jabs of all time towards the series!
HK-47 - an assassin droid in Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic. Very nice dialog with him. He's solutions to a problem are usually simple;)
I'll never forget escaping from Raven Rock, after a brutal struggle with dozens of heavily armoured Enclave soldiers, which caused me to resort to my Lincoln's Repeater, only to find Fawkes outside with a Gatling Laser mowing through Enclave soldiers with ease. I felt real emasculated after that.
Freelancer, Juni. Always did think she did too well >.>
Zealot Wrote:Just go play the game and have fun dammit.
Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
